Four nights with my in laws in Broadstairs! Thankfully they loved the place and all was great, they are in their late 80’s so there are few too many steps but we had no problems. Lovely place.
Great location for Broadstairs
Quiet residential location. Beautiful views over the coast.
Spacious apartment and well appointed.
The flat was lovely. Within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants and the coast, and beautifully equipped. The view through the bifold doors was super. It was lovely to sit on the balcony with a cup if coffee overlooking the sea in the sunshine. Will go back.
Thank you so much for you review. Sitting on the balcony in the morning sunshine with a nice cup of coffee is my favourite place in the flat.
What an amazing apartment. It looks exactly as the photos.
We booked this apartment to attend the Margate Soul Festival 2019.
We found the apartment very clean and tidy.
The kitchen was well equipped, we didn't even need the champagne glasses I bought with me!!
The sitting room was spacious, sofas very comfy.
The whole layout of the apartment is very well thought out, especially the serving hatch in the kitchen which gives an open plan feel.
The best part of the apartment is the balcony overlooking the sea. You can have sea views through a window but to sit on a balcony in this particular apartment is what has made us book up again for next year.
What a great location ! Accommodation brilliant
We had a lovely comfortable stay in this flat with wonderful views over the sea everything we expected great location for visiting the area
A wonderful location beyond the Western Esplanade and really quiet. The sea view from the balcony is to die for. The flat is comfortable and well appointed.
If you enjoy hiking or cycling, Broadstairs is on route 15 of the 32 mile (51.4km) Viking Coastal trail. Why not cycle or walk to one of the many real ale micro pubs and Breweries that are springing up all over Thanet. These micro pubs are often small converted shops where real ale or cider is proudly served and conversation flows as much as the beer!
History abounds! This was Dickens favourite holiday spot! Explore a wealth of Dickens memorabilia at the Dickens House Museum. Joss Bay named after the notorious 18th century smuggler Joss Snelling is well worth a visit and Botany Bay was a contraband hot-spot. In Ramsgate discover the secret underground tunnels which saved the lives of many people by providing shelter from the blitz in world war two. The new Turner centre in Margate is well worth a visit as is the Old Town Square for vintage and retro shops. The port's Sea Searcher offers wildlife-watching tours and fishing charters, RIB Request offers seal ,wind farm and ship spotting trips, while GalleonCruises allows you to hire your very own sleek cruiser.
Thanet's 15 sandy beaches and bays stretch from Pegwell Bay in the south to Minnis Bay in the north. Long famous for their beauty, this year they've notched up more Blue Flag awards than any other area in the country: seven Blue Flags plus three Seaside AwardsHigh-speed services mean the shores of Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate are less than to hours away from London.
