This is a typical French house, inside the old walls of the château that I fell in love with one holiday. The little lane leading to the house was between the ramparts and the château wall and is more or less pedestrianised, there is no circulation of traffic. Don't expect a 'Disney' style château, things are simple here and this house is just one of the many cut into the walls. There are only four houses on the other side of this little street and one (me) on this side. We have tried to keep the ambiance of this old house and so have renovated to provide most conveniences without loosing its charm. If you like modern houses this isn't for you, if you like to experience French charm, quirky, intriguing, old stone walls, old tiled floors, calm, privacy with beautiful countryside starting within just 2 mins walk then this is for you. Don't forget your camera, walking shoes and maybe your binoculars as there are plenty of birds of prey, wild boars etc. around the gorge of the Cesse river behind the village and lots of lovely walks (guides provided and internet links). Getting out and about is what makes this region for me
