What makes this House unique
This home is private, quiet and self contained. The front porch offers comfortable seating; a glider love seat, rocker seats with leg rests, and drop sun screens should you need them. Comfortable. Just minutes away, enjoy McKinney Roughs Nature Park, open to all. Start with their mini museum exhibiting local wild life and much more, like various hiking trails for you and your pet. On the desk inside the home are brochures for attractions in the nearby quaint town of Bastrop and Smithville, and of course the city of Austin. Lovely time at Cedar Creek
Homey, spacious and well set up...this is a great choice and owner Suzanne was terrific....accessible and helpful.
Country get away
We had an excellent time getting away from the city. The property is right next to nature trails great for hiking. Also easy access to Austin. bastrop downtown also quaint. Wonderful host. House has everything you could ask for.
Kinda hard to find at first. Place clean and well equipped. Susanne a great host
Beautiful Home and AMAZING Host
Suzanne was an amazing, considerate host and was very accommodating to my unique situation!
The rental is stocked well with not only basics, but extras as well (thanks for the candy!). Everything was very clean and appliances were in good working condition when needed. Suzanne provides all the information you need for your stay including an emergency sheet, local menus, and simple easy-to-understand info on checking in and out. She is also quick to respond and was very considerate of our time.
Now to the good stuff — the picturesque home is located in a beautiful, lush area surrounded by gorgeous countryside while still being easily accessible and close to the highway. There isn’t much traffic, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Suzanne’s home is a great getaway, and while we stayed there, there were Texas wildflowers in bloom all throughout the front yard!!! Perfect for family photos!
The only con of this rental (which turned out to be more of a pro!) is that the photos don’t do the space justice. There is wonderful natural light during the day and the home is more spacious than I expected. I have stayed in quite a few short term rentals, and I can easily say this one exceeded my expectations. :)
There’s so much to do and see in area, so if you are thinking about renting with Suzanne, go for it! You won’t be disappointed.
Great value and quiet living
Owner takes great care in ensuring you are taken care of and happy. Accomdations are spacious and well kept. There is some remodeling going on, but nothing that would keep me from staying again. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the value is great for long term stays. I am glad we stayed and will be back again.
Great place to stay for COTA
We stayed for a long weekend during MOTOGP. There are 2 back ways into COTA to avoid the traffic. The house is clean and the host is nearby if you need advice or help with anything. I recommend this house and would definitely stay here again.
There is a Zip Line Adventure Park one mile from Home.
