Roomy multi-level flat, great location
Great base for two families to explore Bath. Multiple bedrooms on 3 upper levels, all with multiple comfortable single beds, linens, and modern/remodelled bathrooms. (Layout worked great for our older kids, but families with very small children might have trouble with the stairs). Kitchen well equipped (if cooking you’ll need to bring/buy all foodstuffs). Location excellent & checkin/out very easy thanks to a responsive & flexible host.
The perfect quirky hideaway
We loved our stay at the Governors! The accommodation comfortably sleeps ten in its quirky boutique style. Location is amazing for a 5 minute walk into the centre of bath.
Thanks so much for having us!
Bedrooms are great, location great, living room is a little limited but overall a great experience
We were a group of 3 couples that stayed at the Governor's for 5 nights. It was a great space. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable shared space. Quite area, but easy walk to anywhere in Bath. Walked to and from the bus and train station with luggage with no problems.
Christmas visit to Bath
We enjoyed our stay at The Governors enormously. The house itself was great and perfect for our needs. The position and proximity to the town Center and tourist sights was excellent and meant we, a group of 8 adults could take full advantage of what was on offer.
Thank you for taking the time to submit this lovely feedback! :)
Wonderful place! Makes you feel like a local.
We enjoyed our time at The Governor's. The beds were very comfortable and we had pently of room for the seven of us. It was an easy walk to the Roman Bath and Abbey. Our first night, we headed to the neighborhood pub, The Rising Sun (based on the host's recommendation) and it was a delight.
With a buzzing city centre and a string of things to do, Bath is the perfect city break. An acclaimed World Heritage Site, Bath is home to England’s most complete Georgian architecture and iconic attractions such as Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park are close by.
Bath’s biggest claim to fame is that it is the only city in the United Kingdom where you can indulge in Roman style baths and bathe in naturally hot spa water.
