We enjoyed our stay in the attic apartment. It was cozy and well-equipped. The apartment was as expected from the descriptions. The bathroom had counter space and the shower had a shelf and these were convenient. There is an elevator once you go up a short flight of stairs. Pablo answered my questions about the apartment ahead of time.
The location was great! Right by a metro stop, short walk to Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and the Rustafa Market on Sunday. There are grocery stores across the street. It was easy to get to many key tourism areas by foot or with a short subway ride.
Nice flat, amazing location. But the only issue is the water issue in the shower
Perfect Home Base
Pablo's apartment was perfect for a week's stay in Madrid. The location was great - a supermarket just across the square, the metro just steps away with easy access to the airport or train station, and easy walking distance to central Madrid. Tirso de Molina is lively during daylight hours, but quiet at night. The apartment has lots of character and is well equipped. Numerous windows fill the apartment with light and good airflow. Communicating with Pablo was easy - I highly recommend!
Muchas gracias Diane por lo bien que has dejado el apartamento, fue un placer tenerte como huésped, hasta la próxima.
Loved the cozy, clean apartment.
Loved being able to feel the heartbeat of the city in this conviently located apartment. Very cozy with all the amenities needed for your stay. Only thing I would say is it may not be best for tall people. My husband did bonk his head a few times. But I loved it and would stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Ideally situated, characterful apartment ideal for a (not too tall) couple.
The apartment was a perfect, comfortable base for our week exploring Madrid. Most places to visit are in walking distance, while more distant sights can easily be reached from the Metro station a few metres from the front door. The kitchen arrangements are quite adequate ( Note: the coffee-maker is Italian style Monix, not electric) and the Taberna next door is a great option for delicious, reasonably-priced eating out. We appreciated the "Old Madrid" feel of the neighbourhood and would happily stay here again.
I am very glad that you liked my apartment and that you enjoyed the city. the apartment you have left in perfect condition. I hope to see you next time. Good trip ;-)
It was located perfectly between Plaza Mayor and Plaza Puerta de Sol. Metro right thee as well.
Property was located perfectly in the center of Madrid. Was able to walk to the museums, Grand Via and the major plazas; Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Puerta de Sol. The metro was right in front of the property, easy to get around if I didn't feel like walking. There was more than enough room for me as I travelled alone, although there was enough room for three more people easily. I was warned it was an attic apartment, so I was not surprised with the low slanting ceilings. I did hit my head a time or two, but nothing serious. The kitchen has everything you need in a small amount of space. The dining & living rooms are spacious. There is a supermarket across the plaza in you want to eat in. There are also several cafes, restaurants, food shops and bars in case you want to head out. I was fortunate to attend two football matches while in Madrid. The Santiago Bernabeau and the Vincente Calderon Stadiums were awesome experiences I'll never forget. I can't wait to come back to Madrid.
The apartment offers an ideal location for travelers who enjoy the historic center of big cities, in the Plaza Tirso de Molina also called Plaza de las Flores for its flower stalls that adorn the plaza. Located in one of the most desirable areas of the city immersed in the historic Madrid, with its cafes, tapas bars and restaurants such as La Latina neighborhood, Santa Ana and Plaza Mayor.
An apartment from which will allow you to walk most of the sights of Madrid. The neighborhood offers a bohemian atmosphere and breathes the traditional Madrid. If you want to see something typical of the neighborhood, every Sunday the streets around the apartment the Rastro flea market fills the streets of noise and color is
