Having recently purchased this as their second home in Spain, they plan to visit the property as often as they can with their family and friends. When it is not occupied they are delighted to welcome others to share their home. The property is situated within a gated community in a safe and secure environment and is looked after by a local family when the owners are not around.

The marinas at Marbella, Cabopino, Puerto Banus, Estepona and La Duquesa are well worth a visit with a wonderful array of restaurants and bars. The beautiful mountain villages of Mijas, Casares, Benahavis, Istan Ojen and Ronda are also not to be missed.

Very homey, beautiful apartment with stunning swimming pools and views of the sea.
Slightly shocked on arrival that there was no air conditioning.... just took for granted that it would have as all apt’s we have rented in the past have had.
There is a gorgeous breeze through the apt though so we managed but would have liked to have been alerted to this beforehand. Our fault for not checking
The apt is perfectly equipped with everything needed for a family holiday and apart from being quite a drive up from the beach we were very happy with the location. Not too busy and not too deserted just right .
Def recommend to others who are looking for a comfortable and pleasant apt to rent.
The owners were very communicative and accommodated our needs in every way they could.

Amazing property. Definitely recommend!
Michelle and John were really helpful and great to deal with. This apartment is a very large 3 bedroom property. It was very comfortable and there was plenty of room inside and out! Great to dine outside and also really lovely sea views. We visited the main pool most days but having two children it would have been nicer if the pool opened before 11am. There is another smaller pool but it wasn't as nice. We have been to Spain several years in a row and have always chosen well but I have to say this apartment was by far the cleanest and nicest. We would recommend and would stay again.
Our holiday in Mijas (summer 2018)
We had a wonderful holiday in Mijas. The appartment was like it was described on the website ,clean, well-maintained, a quite location. It is ideal for a family holiday. Everything had been prepared by the owner. I would recommend to rent a car to get around. The region is so beautiful. It is perfect for a combination of beach and cultural holiday. I would surely recommend it.
A lovely spacious apartment with every amenity, offering all day sun on the balcony!
A stunning 3-bed, 3-bathroom apartment (felt more like a villa!), with sea views and a cool breeze occasionally wafting through, to alleviate the all-day sun you get on the south facing balcony. Every mod con you could need meant we had an absolutely fantastic holiday and would go back again in a heartbeat. Felt really secure in the gated community, and was spoilt for choice between the two different swimming pools.
The Calahonda Strip is only around 15 to 20 minute walk away, taxi cabs are plentiful and reasonably priced, and definitely go to Mijas beach for the day (sunbeds at El Terreon recommended!).
As mentioned, we absolutely loved our stay, and the fact that John and Michelle were only at the end of the phone if anything had gone awry gave us extra piece of mind...
Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough, definitely 10/10!!
Beautiful apartment with the most amazing views
A very clean and spacious apartment, with views to die for. Parking was easy and although the road up was a bit winding, you soon got used to it. Both pools are very close by and clean, and not overly busy. A perfect location to visit all the surrounding areas.
weather was around 30 degrees but there was always a cool breeze and the lack of air conditioning didn't matter.
Would not hesitate to come here again.... highly recommended. The booking procedure was straightforward and help by owners was really appreciated, thank you Michelle and John.
El Porton is situated in the best area of the Costa Del Sol. It is surrounded by the marina of Cabopino, Cabopino Golf, La Siesta Golf and the town of Marbella is near so that you can enjoy nature and the beaches as well as the city and nightlife. It is only 5 minutes drive to the sea from El Porton, which lies half way between Malaga and the well know marina Puerto Banus in Marbella. You will find restaurants, beaches, shopping centres, hotels, clinics and, of course, lots of golf courses nearby. In short, it's the ideal place to enjoy the sun 365 days a year.
Cities to visit on a day trip: Seville, Cordoba, Granada (Sierra Nevada sky station), Malaga city, Ronda and many of the beautiful Andalusian white towns where to enjoy the Spanish traditions and culture.
