This was a comfortable stay for what we needed. Didn’t spend much time at the flat. Enjoyed a great coffee shop Scrimshaw Coffee not too far of a walk away.
Great location in an urban neighborhood.
It's a small but cozy one bedroom apartment situated atop a garage behind the owner's primary residence. Max and Marie are very responsive to needs, including Max showing up on last minute notice because we had locked ourselves out of the property. Overall, it's a great value, comfortable and clean.
Two weeks in the tree tops.
Our stay was comfortable is this charming apartment. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was darling. Our only real criticism, besides the many times mentioned, broken blinds, would be the bathroom floor. The built up crud along the base is sad to see . The line of dark mold or stain along the wall edge of the tub also. That being said, the tub, sink and toilet we're spotless. It just needs a good deep cleaning .
Cute little studio suite!
This was a great little place to stay. It is pretty small, but for the price, it was a good value. I would say it sleeps 3 comfortably. The bed is great, but I wouldn't put two adults on the pull out bed. Two small kids would be okay, or one adult. There is not an outlet in the bathroom, but there is a large mirror in the bedroom so we were able to blow dry and plug things in there. My only complaint is that the iron had a lot of build up on it...I'm not sure if it was hard water or if a previous guest melted something on it, but I didn't notice until I went to iron my shirt and it left a large stain, ruining the shirt. :( The shower head is a bit short and the water pressure is not great, but that is to be expected given the water restrictions in California. Many of the blinds were missing slats and it was not dark at night...we ended up putting some towels and blankets up over the windows for privacy and room darkening, which worked fine. Overall, this was a good value for the money and we had a lot of fun in the San Diego area. There was lots to see and do and we had a really good trip.
Quiet and Clean but Issues
We stayed 9 days and parking was a definite problem - no satellite/ cable TV as advertised - very low water pressure in bathroom and no soap for tub/shower - also, no lighting on walkway and steps to unit. Nice linens and comfortable bed! Blinds still need attention.
Quiet and clean apartment
Our family enjoyed staying at the Treetop Flat and would come back in a heartbeat! We had everything we need, with towels, hair dryer etc. provided.
As mentioned before, the blinds in the bedroom aren’t properly working and letting in a lot of the street light. Everything else was in great condition!
