Seaside Escape a private, licensed with the City of Marathon, home that is the ultimate setting for a family vacation.... easy, and quick access to the Atlantic for a day of fishing, snorkeling or just plain enjoying boating out on the ocean for the day. Our beautiful home is located close to open water, 2nd house in from open water and a nice canal and seawall that can handle a boat up to 32 feet with a fish cleaning table for your convenience and not far from the dock area is a bait freezer!
For those of you that consider relaxing poolside, on a chaise lounge with a tropical beverage, needing the dream vacation, have we got a pool for you!!!! Sparkling water to soak up the sun and water from a pool float, swim at your leisure or a few laps, you can enjoy our optional heated pool during the chilly days or an amazingly chilled pool during those hot days and nights to sooth the skin, we offer that and more! We provide pool floats as well.
Our outdoor living area is nothing shy of amazing. 6 comfy lounge chairs to soak up the wonderful Vitamin Sea and D or relax and read a great book, we even provide a small library of great reads! Can you say our Tiki is awesome and takes you away from the world surrounding you? We can! Comfy seating around the table while you play cards, board games, chat about who missed the big one or who really did catch that big one at 500 feet below, we provide plenty of seating and protection from the rain. One spectacular LP grill is provided for you to cook that wonderful catch of the day or if you sneak over to a local fishery, we won’t tell anyone, just enjoy grilling close to the Tiki and Pool. This spectacular 3-bedroom, 3 full bathroom home is located on a deep-water canal, oceanside, 2nd home from open water for your convenience. Our front driveway area can accommodate up to 3 vehicles including a boat trailer. Its round driveway allows plenty of parking for trucks and cars. We are located at a dead-end street for convenience and also to acknowledge that when bringing in your boat.
Our large fully stocked kitchen allows large gatherings at the table and plenty of room to cook/clean during your stay with us. We provide an open concept living room, dining and kitchen area so everyone can have a great conversation on what everyone did for the day if you are either fishing, shopping, snorkeling or stay at our home and read a good book at the pool.
Our home provides high speed Wi Fi if you have to work from our home during your stay and that secured information is given to you upon your arrival. We do provide Tv’s in each bedroom and our living room for those who are either later sleepers or need that white noise while you sleep.
Master bedroom provides a king bed, dresser, nightstands, Tv and has a private full bathroom. Bedroom 2 provides a queen bed, nightstands, luggage rack private full bathroom, and 3rd bedroom provides a queen bed, nightstand, and luggage rack and has a bathroom just off of the laundry room area which we provide a front load HE washer and dryer; laundry soap, bleach and dryer sheets are provided for your convenience.
We provide pool towels, pool floats, great books to read, quiet neighborhood, easy access to open water, and nothing shy of peace and quiet for the weary traveler and much needed vacation families. We call this "finding Neemo-Normal Vacation". Kids want Neemo and parents want Normal. Welcome to our home. :-)
Upon booking our home and within 60 days of arrival, we provide a detailed list of boat rental companies that other guests have used and suggested using, catering in our home with a private chef, great local restaurants that not everyone knows about, snorkeling hot spots and everything in between!
