This is a true mountain cabin! Warm, cozy in the winter, and cool in the summer with air conditioning which is rare in many cabins here... The spacious cabin location is a double lot for privacy. Plenty of room outside for parking and child play. The windows are double pained for quietness! Enjoy a refreshing walk for dining or drinking to Thelma's Restaurant and multiple little dine in or take out restaurants near Thelma’s. Big Bear Airport lounge has a restaurant and some nights live entertainment, romantic and fun. Wyatt’s Grill & Saloon which is inside Big Bear Convention Center (about 1.5 mile walk) normally has entertainment including free line dancing, live bands and is kid friendly atmosphere! There is a hiking trail at end of piñon. Nearby is Circle K gas/convience store. The Convention Center 1.5 miles especially good for Octoberfest, Resturants.. Local coin-op laundry facility is just blocks away. This cabin has a access ramp for those in need..
When you walk thru the beautiful leaded glass front door you are greeted by the open floor plan of the full kitchen, dining area, and living room, with its electric fireplace. Kitchen is roomy and very well equipped, from wine, beer, martini and champagne glasses to kurig coffee maker and mugs.. Nice matching dinnerware, to set a beautiful table for that special dinner. A large futon is opposite two accent chairs which are sitting on either side of a beautiful electronic fireplace ( does not burn wood. The dining table is the perfect size and occupies one side of the room just off the kitchen area. The kitchen has everything needed for convenience.
