The fenced-in back yard is terrific for dogs and kids. We have a comfy and relaxing very large screened-in porch and large patio. Pet-friendly.

A wonderful little house walking distance to the beach

While I could tell the story of my family and our trip to the beach, the part you probably want to know about involves the house and the property management. They were wonderful. The house was simple and clean. The bright and airy feel evoked the sense of the beach life that we were eager to enjoy. And indeed it was just a short walk to the beach. Which, on the busy weekend we visited, meant we didn't have to fight for parking. That's a huge plus. There was a helpful book regarding the island on the coffee table, and for the entire time of our visit, we had phone access to a local person who was more than eager to help. The house was just big enough that when we wanted to step away from the beach, we didn't feel like we were retreating into a confined space. Although, if you get stuck inside for multiple days in a row, it might not continue to feel that way. There is a large covered patio to lounge on, and a sizable back yard which is wonderful if you need to travel with pets (like our dog). Overall, we would highly recommend them.

Great home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sea Casa was perfect for our family, which included four adults and two children. This is the second time we've stayed at the house and we would definitely stay there again. Our favorite parts of the house are the huge screened porch (where we eat all our meals), the outdoor shower (nothings better after a day at the beach), and the proximity to the beach. The whole house is comfortable and clean. We do a lot of cooking and even some baking and the kitchen had what we needed. Mermaid Cottages is a great company to rent from. They are extremely responsive and helpful, if needed, and otherwise you never see them (which is perfect).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to Tybee Island 5 times and have stayed with Mermaid cottages 4 of them. The one time we didn't, we regretted it. Sea Casa is a fantastic rental. It was immaculate and has everything that we needed to or our stay. The patio and outside shower are great. Plenty of room inside and just a short walk to the beach. Love the north end of the island. Tammy, with Mermaid Cottages is fantastic. Thanks again for everything.
