Tucked away on a quiet street only 1 block from the Eastern Market Metro.
About Lynette Craig
Mom to two busy little boys -- I love biking, walking, and exploring with my guys in our lovely Capitol Hill community. An avid traveler myself, I understand how nice it is to have a clean, comfortable space to retreat to at the end of a long day and hope I can provide that to you during your stay in DC.
Lynette Craig purchased this Townhouse in 2008
Why Lynette Craig chose Southeast Washington
This beautiful row-home, built in 1885, was amazingly passed down through the same family that built it until we purchased it in 2008. We consider ourselves it's current caretakers and spent many happy years here as a family and respectfully ask that you help us care for it during your stay.

We had a great week in DC. Your home was Very convenient to shopping, restaurants and the metro.
Excellent rental for our group of 3 couples.
This home was fantastic for our family. We loved it!
From booking to check-in, and then departure, everything was smooth. The home is clean and well appointed. The rooms are a great size for a family gathering We had plenty of space for all of us. I highly recommend this property
Capital Hill Gem
Great place to stay when visiting DC. Great places to eat (Ted’s Bulletin & Matchbox). Only problem is that parking can be an issue. We drove a Mini and that made it somewhat easier. We parked for the week and used Uber everyday.
Fantastic DC Getaway
Fantastic property and location! Was the perfect place for our whole family to gather for our daughters graduation! Highly recommended!!
Property was as advertised. Excellent location.
Beautiful house! Close to the metro so we didn’t need to use our car at all. The house was very clean and the owner was responsive. Child monitors/ and pack and play available at the house for use which made packing a little bit easier. Overall great experience.
It doesn't get more convenient or 'DC' than this location in Eastern Market - no exaggeration! Tucked back on a quiet street, yet only STEPS to the metro and some of the best shopping and eating the Hill has to offer.
Pick up a bike share and ride down to the National Mall, ride the metro line straight home from the Smithsonian after a long day of sight-seeing, walk to the Capitol building and the Library of Congress in mere minutes, meander down Barracks Row and choose from a selection of some of the city's best restaurants, or simply shuffle half a block down to the weekend flea market and pick up some fabulous local art or jewelry.
You can really experience the hill like a local and then retreat into a recently-renovated, clean and inviting space, full of all the amenities you could hope for.
