About Kim Ward
We fell in love with Cyprus and decided to purchase this property so that we could enjoy it with our family and friends.
Kim Ward purchased this Villa in 2016
Why Kim Ward chose Yeroskipou
The house is designed to allow everyone to have their own private room and space. The living area is open plan which allows for great entertaining. The outside area is large and the views are spectacular.
What makes this Villa unique
The property is close to everything whilst still being located in a quiet upmarket street. Ideally located; only a short drive into the village of Yeroskipou where you find various shops, supermarkets, banks, post office and taverna's. Rikkos beach is a mere 5km down the road with easy access. A short drive (20mins) to Pissouri Beach which is a wonderful spot for watersports, a lazy day on the beach and then lunch at one of the restaurants right on the beach.

Kim your villa was lovely! Matched pictures and descriptions perfectly. Had all you need and more inside and outside! The views was amazing and loved the peace and quiet. Only thing I would say is you need a car as the nearest little shop is about 20/30 minute walk and on the way back it’s mostly up hill. I’m sure we will return but will be hiring a car next time.
The villa was amazing and beat all expectations, The booking process was super easy, Kim the owner of the villa was very helpful and really friendly.
i Would recommend a hire car, we used thrify car rental, we got a automatic ford focus with 2 named drivers for £130 for the week, the villa is 15 minutes drive from the airport and 10/15 minutes drive from the harbour, the location of the villa was perfect and had lots of local shops, including a Lidil, a bakery.
The villa itself was very luxurious, the fridge with the filtered water dispenser was a bonus, it had all the mod cons, coffee machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, tv with lots of movie channels and children’s channels,.
The set out of the villa was ideal especially having small children as the was a swimming pool with steps at the shallow end, and a separate veranda with a seating area which was higher up and was perfect from keeping the little ones away from the pool area.
This villa was amazing, the views around the villa was breath taking especially when it was lit up at night, I would highly recommend this villa and I can’t wait to book another holiday and return.
Thanks Billy for the wonderful review. I am glad that you and the family enjoyed your stay and we hope to have you back in the future.
Another lovely holiday yet again in this great Villa.
Upon arriving in Paphos this time we weren't too sure what the weather would bring, but we didn't mind that too much because we knew what to expect from our accomodation. Luckily the weather turned out to be superb for this time of year and we were able to make good use of the pool.
Excellent presentation again throughout. I won't go into too much detail this time as I have already reviewed this property back in October 18.
I thoroughly recommend staying at this Villa. Hire car essential really as it is located outside walking distance of Paphos key locations. Excellent holiday. Thanks again for having us.
Many thanks Chris for the lovely review and really glad that the weather was kind to you too.
What a lovely Villa. Well equipped and extremely clean. Comfortable and appealing.
When we arrived at the Villa we were not sure what to expect. Upon walking the small number of steps to the front door the beautiful swimming pool was revealed to us, set within the golden shades of stone patio. It was clear that this property is well maintained.
Then we entered the Villa itself. Absolutely beautiful and well furnished. The master bedroom stood out the most with its bath and walk in shower, but the other two bedrooms were lovely too, each with an ensuite.
Homely decorating and thoughtful touches were found throughout the house. The refrigerator has an ice cube and crush machine, optional filtered cold water from the tap, supplied inflatables for the pool and the use of two bikes in the garage are but a few to mention. The range of channels to watch on the tv were perfect for keeping the kids amused after swimming all day in the pool. The property is very spacious and we felt we weren't all living in each others pockets. 75 year old nanny was loving the downstairs bedroom and outside patio area.
An absolutely perfect location overlooking the whole of Paphos. The night views were fantastic. The use of a car is a must though as the walk to the Villa is quite steep and very tiring.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday here and would most definitely come back. The photographs on the website do not show just how beautiful this Villa really is.
Thank Chris for the lovely review and glad to hear that everyone in your party enjoyed their stay and do hope to see you visiting Cyprus again in the future.
Fantastic - we'll be back!
We weren't sure what to expect as never visited Cyprus before, but we wanted somewhere away from the the hustle & bustle off town yet within easy reach. The property exceeded our expectations from the off. It is spacious, well laid out, clean and extremely well equipped. The views are amazing, particularly from the master bathroom which is as luxurious as they come. We found the short drive into town was easy, as well as access from the airport. We were so pleased we chose this peaceful location for our stay and would highly recommend. Thank you Kim .
Geroskipou has much to offer the visitor and a pleasant morning or afternoon can be spent visiting the local attractions. The village also has a good selection of shops on the main street, from Turkish Delight to basket ware and ceramics. Some places of interest are:
a) THE CHURCH OF AGIA PARASKEVI is a beautiful church in the centre of the village and dates at least to the 11th Century. It is unique by the fact it has five domes, inside the church the five domes form a cross. The walls of the church are adorned with ancient paintings and icons most dating back to the 10th and 15th Century.
b) LOUKOUMI or Cyprus Delight also known as Turkish Delight is a sweet confection made of jelly, almonds, sugar, starch and liberally sprinkled with icing sugar. It has been made in the village by the same family using the original recipe for over a hundred years and is now exported all over the world. The shop is placed in the main street of Geroskipou and people are welcomed to visit and sample the delight before they purchase. For more information visit: http://www.aphroditedelights.com
c) THE FOLK ART MUSEUM is well signposted and just a few minutes walk from the village centre. It is a lovely old rustic building centred around two court yards and at one time was owned by the British Vice Council. The buildings were restored and opened as the Folk Art Museum in 1978. There are many historic exhibits depicting life, work and traditional crafts and art over the 19th and early 20th Century. You will need at least 1hour or more to visit all the rooms and exhibits. There is a small entry charge. Ladies please note no bags or handbags are allowed into the museum and have to be left with security at the entrance.
