I am originally from Colombia but have lived in London for 12 years, where i am now happily married with a beautiful daughter. I am lucky enough to own this apartment with my husband and it is my pleasure to rent it out to guests. The happiness of my guests is very important to me - i will do everything i can to ensure that they enjoy their stay in this wonderful city!
Diana purchased this Apartment in 2004
Why Diana chose City of Westminster
Our apartment is stylishly furnished as we lived in it for many years, it has everything a visitor needs to enjoy their stay. By London standards it is very spacious and also receives light all of the day. The street is quiet but located very close to the centre of everything - just 2 minutes from the nearest tube and the nearest supermarket and walking distance to many of the major sightseeing including The British Museum, Regents Park, Piccadilly Circus and the shopping of Oxford Street.

Dissatisfied disappointing discouraging
The property was difficult to find. Loud people outside 24/7. Hairdryer washer and dryer broken; reported but not repaired. When reported clothes in wet washer and wouldn’t open she told me ‘wait 10 minutes and washer will open’. Obviously she KNEW washer was broken. So dissatisfied. We booked property based on fact we could do our Landry. We were told just go to laundry mat down the road🤷♀️🙄☹️ Usually have good results with Vrbo. Not this time. Very poor.
A quiet neighborhood that is still close to everything
We enjoyed our stay here. It is a quiet neighborhood that still is only 3 blocks from the Great Portland Street station. The flat is well-appointed and was comfortable for 5 people (our youngest son slept on the fold-out in the living room. It is a corner unit, so there are windows on two sides to get a little breeze. A grocery store is nearby and several family-friendly restuarants are also close--we really enjoyed Conchiglia with the owner who would occasionally burst into song. The flat was a nice place to retreat to after a day bustling around London--hardly any traffic or other noise. The building itself is not pretty and the common areas are very spartan, and the floors of the flat are a little creaky, but overall it was a fine place to spend our first few days in London. Diana was very helpful in providing information and was kind to meet us at midnight to give us the keys. We would stay here again.
Location and comfort as promised
Diana was easy to communicate with- we needed an extra bed, which she provided in the living room. The location was just great for walking, dining, and access to the tube. Would definitely recommend
High hopes but so disappointed
Diane was so nice and helpful--answering all of our questions. The flat is located in a great area--with shopping, restaurants and transportation. I left a note with the issues that we encountered with this flat. Attention--needs to be addressed with the loose tile and grouting, hot water in the sink of the first bathroom, issues with sub-floor by kitchen and mold in the back bathroom in the fan. Simple maintenance and cleaning would help this flat greatly. I know this review will not make it on the website but please let Diane know.
Great Location and Space
We (two couples) just stayed here for two nights and found the location perfect, with easy access to buses and underground and numerous reasonable places to eat and get groceries.
The separate bedrooms and baths fit our bill perfectly. The lift to the second floor was fine and overall the apartment was very quiet. The kitchen has little seating and no real table other than an island. The open concept living area though does have couches and chairs so you can spread out after a full day of touring. The internet was good and Diana had a USB hub so we could all charge our phones. We fixed breakfast in the mornings and all the appliances we needed were there and worked. Could have used some paper towels to clean up and the fry pan has seen better days. There were various types of coffee and tea available which was nice. There are a couple of maintenance items that need to be addressed such as a shower head in the main bath and a window which we could not close. But overall this met our needs and I would not hesitate to use it again in the future.
Great Rental Property
We really enjoyed our week’s at Diana’s apartment. It’s only a couple of blocks from a tube station and close to two others. This allows easy access to multiple tube lines to easily venture into different parts of the city. The apartment has all of the amenities you need: TV’s, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, Internet, microwave, stove, etc. it is also kid-friendly. Diana was very friendly and accommodating.
