Great location, beautiful apartment
Alessandro greeted us at the property when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. Everything was just as expected. The house is very comfortable, well appointed for a short or extended stay. It can serve as a place to crash after touring the surrounding countryside: castles, vineyards, wineries, restaurants, shops and much more. We made a couple of trips to Alba and a day trip to Turin. We found the location to be ideally situated for touring the countryside or the cities.
A delightful stay
We were looking for a base from which to explore the Langhe win region and the Slow Food movement - this was perfect. The location was central to Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba and Bra. It was an easy drive to Bra to catch the train to Turin fro a day trip if necessary.
The property was clean and well maintained. The owner provided excellent service from the time we booked and we were made extremely welcome. The welcome basket of goodies was most generous.
We would definitely recommend this property and plan to return sometime.
Quiet little gem
This is a lovely little house, set in the vineyards outside Alba. There are two large bedrooms, bath and laundry upstairs. A smaller kitchen and sitting room make up the main level. Communication was great from start to finish. We were met promptly by Carmen and Alessandro (her son. Speaks very good english). There are good restaurants in the little town close by. There is also a huge grocery store about a five minute drive away. We were left a very nice welcoming basket with enough breakfast and snack things to cover a few days stay. Don't miss the beautiful Castle at Grinzale Cavour, about a five minute drive away as well. The only minus I would say is that the WIFI was not great. It ran out on the second day of our stay, simply having reached it's monthly capping. So if this is something super important to you, I would suggest you inquire about how much internet will be left if your stay is near the end of the month. Otherwise an A plus rental! Thank you Carmen and Alessandro for your warm welcome.

"Great agriturismo with all the comforts of your own home. I''ve stayed in many vacation rentals and it was so nice to find the things here that are normally lacking: food basics (we were left a gift basket with bread, coffee, juice, jam, milk, etc), shampoo, q-tips, plenty of kitchen utensils, pillows, blankets, etc.
The apartment is beautiful! Two true bedrooms with big beds, adequate furnishings and simple decor. Location is hard to find but nestled among beautiful scenery and close to Alba. Because they are relatives with the people owning the adjoining bed and breakfast, there was always someone around if we needed anything on short notice. Would love to go again and highly recommend for some quiet countryside vacation."
