Romantic Windmill with splendid views
We had an excellent stay at the mill, everything was as described. The location is very much to be recommended, but guests need to be aware that this is not a "normal" house, but a special place with a special architecture. Lovely view and beautiful surroundings. The restaurant Pateo Velho nearby is excellent!
Many thanks to Clotilde and in particular to Sandra for the warm welcome and detailed information!
Prachtige plek, leuke molen
Hello! :)
I'm glad that you chose my lodging to stay :). I thank you for the comment you left and I'm also glad that it was a pleasant stay! I would like to say that
the Windmill is not a common lodging. When I adapted the mill I tried to keep all the traditional parts of the engine that make it unique. Also, at that time, people weren't so tall, so that is a problem nowadays! :)
The mill needed isolation to stop the wind from comming in. For that reason, when the weather is not that nice to our visitors, its best to use the equipments available: venters, heaters, towels and anti humidity machine.
Regarding children, they can stay at the mill, but with supervision. We have had little visitors before and they loved it!
Again, I'm glad for your visit, hope to see you again soon! :)
Kind regards.

Cordialement,
Clotilde
Lovely!!!
The Mill is so romantic! A little kitchen, confortable bed and it's very quiet! good for 2 persons! Clotilde was very kind and understandable. She is ready for helping every time you need! We also had bread every morning at the mill! Fantastic!!
It's better go there with a car so that you can visit Portugal as we did!
