About this property

Set in virgin countryside, in the north of the island, this 250yr old, completely renovated farmhouse, is a tranquil paradise waiting for you. The house is situated on a mountainside and has spectacular views over the valley of San Miguel, relax in a beautifully landscaped garden, complete with palm trees and even swings for the little ones. A combination of all the comfort you deserve while maintaining the original style and charm and tastefully decorated with items from Asia. Other features include swimming pool (10m x 4.5m), chillout with balinese bed, BBQ, garage, alarm GPS, home osmosis water filter system for drinking water, dishwasher, washing machine, drier, TV plasma 42', DVD and satellite, internet wifi access, Axa home insurance, cleaning facilities, garden and pool maintenance, private access. San Miguel village is just 5 minutes away (approx. 1.5 km) where you'll find 2 Supermarkets, 3 Banks, Post Office, and the closest beaches are Benirras and San Miguel Port.

Restaurants: Ibiza is full of marvellous restaurants and many of them are very close to the property. San Miguel has one of the best Italian restaurants on the island, you'll find 'La Luna Nell' Orto' in the village at the beginning of the road leading to the port. As already mentioned between the San Miguel Port and the close by Benirras beach you will find three very good fish restaurants. La Paloma, which has become extremely popular in recent years, is in San Lorenzo which is just 10 minutes away and Santa Gertrudis, which has a large range of bars and restaurants lies 10 minutes away in the other direction. Keep going and you'll find C'an Pau and then my personal favourite, with the delicious basque country cuisine 'Ama Lur'.
If it's typical Ibicencan dishes that you're after you'll find some of the best country restaurants on the San Juan road, Es Pins, Cana Pepeta, Balafí and Can Costa to name but a few, all are close-by and several offer good value for money while others are suitable for fine dining.
San Miguel is further residence to several artisans and a weekly artisan market on Thursdays. The famous UK Jeweller Natasha Collis also has her shop and studio up on the historic hill of San Miguel beside the church.
Generally the region of San Miguel is very suitable for many types of outdoor activities like swimming, snorkelling, hiking, water ski and more.

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location. Josep and Leah are great hosts, and made sure everything was easy and relaxing. The house is gorgeous - about as far from a bland, characterless apartment block as it's possible to be. It's in a great elevated spot with wonderful views west across the countryside. Although it feels secluded there are several decent supermarkets within 10 minutes, and plenty of local eating out options too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, whether you're simply looking for somewhere special to relax, or whether you're looking for a peaceful, idyllic spot from which to explore Ibiza. It worked for us in every way. Thank you Josep and Leah!

Sehr schönes und stilvolles Haus

Wir hatten eine super Woche in der Villa von Josep und Leah. Es fehlte uns an nichts, die Villa ist zu 100% ausgestattet und hat alles was man zum Ferien geniessen braucht. Das Check In mit Josep war sehr genau und danach weiss man wo jeder Schalter oder Knopf ist um alles zu bedienen (Anlage, TV, Alarm usw.). Wir haben uns alle 4 sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken und hier noch Mal für die tolle Gastfreundschaft.

Wonderful location to stay in Ibiza!

It is a splendid house located in Sant Miguel ! A traditional house, classic, built up with care, having in mind all small details possible. The house has all the facilities you need for living and a beautiful swimming pool from which you can admire the sunset. Jose, the owner, impressed us with his hospitality and gave us a lot of information regarding the house and things to do near by. I recommend!

Traumurlaub !

Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Kindern im Alter von 12 und 8 Jahren, haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in der Finca von Joseph und Leah verbracht. Besonders schön sind der großzügige Poolbereich und der große Garten, in denen man herrlich entspannen kann. Auf dem balinesischen Bett kann man eine gemütliche Siesta halten oder einfach nur relaxen; es ist Platz für die ganze Familie. Auch das Haus im Landhausstil ist sehr schön und geräumig. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht, und die schönen Sitzplätze im und am Haus laden immer wieder zum gemütlichen Verweilen ein. Das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit Bad ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat zudem eine Klimaanlage. Vom Haus aus ist es nur ein kurzer Weg mit dem Auto in den nächsten Ort, in dem man einkaufen und auch sehr gut essen gehen kann. Die Eigentümer Joseph und Leah waren immer zu erreichen, wenn es Fragen gab und haben sich toll um alles gekümmert. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in ihrem Haus sehr genossen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Norden von Ibiza

Josep und Familie haben sich sehr bemüht, uns einen tollen und angenehmen Aufenthalt in ihrer Finca zu ermöglichen. Wer ursprüngliches Ibiza erleben will, ist hier richtig. Ein sehr schöner Pool lädt zum Baden ein und Josep ist immer da, wenn man etwas nötig hat und kümmert sich liebevoll um seine Gäste. Wer fernab der Massen seine Ruhe und Frieden sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können diese Finca bestens weiter empfehlen.

We both, will try to do, the best we can, to make you enjoy the house and the beautiful surroundings.

Why they chose this property

This original ibizan country villa and it's land has belonged to my family for generations, It's actually our home during 9 months per year and we only rent it when our twin girls have long school summer holidays, so it's not just a touristic villa, it's a real home. My grand parents house is just down in the valley.

What makes this property unique

Nowadays, Ibiza has around 3 million visitors per year, but most of them come during the 2 summer months. So you can imagine how busy the island becomes, the traffic we have on the roads, how difficult is to find parking, the little space that you find on the beaches, how busy the restaurants are, etc. But, the place where we have this country villa, is one of the last remaining original corners of the island, you won't realise that you're in the famous and busy "Ibiza" !!, you'll totally forget the busy traffic, the busy beaches or the queues wherever you go. This finca, located in a protected area, will give you the relax that you need and deserve.
