Wonderful house in Burgundy
We stayed at Eric's fantastic house, Les Hirondelles in Chivres, Burgundy, July 7-14 2018. We are a family of 14 (9 adults and 5 children 2-7 years old) and there was plenty of space for everyone. Indoors, all rooms are spacious and charming, all bedrooms have a private bathroom and the living room and kitchen are well equipped. However, the main area, where we spent most of our time, is the wonderful garden, with a spectacular view over the surrounding plains. It has a big swimming pool, a huge barbecue, a big dining table under a shade and even an authentic pizza oven, where Eric kindly cooked us a great pizza meal that we thoroughly enjoyed, not least the small ones. The garden is also unusually well equipped with games and playing equipment for all ages. Eric was a wonderful host, always ready to help out but never imposing on our privacy. We can not recommend this house highly enough, it has absolutely everything. Thank you Eric, we would love to visit Les Hirondelles again.
Great house, wonderful time, very relaxing
My husband and I came from California to France to have a reunion with my family. We were so pleased to have rented this house. The moment we walked in, it felt very welcoming, comfortable, and especially clean. There were 11 of us with enough bedrooms with bathroom, each uniquely decorated for us all and plenty of things to do, fusball, darts, ping pong, bocce ball and a large pool that we used every day since the weather was so nice. With a covered bar area , BBQ and a large table outside underneath an overhang covered with lilac, it made our dining experience that much better. The ambiance of this property with the views of the countryside were amazing.
We would like to thank Eric for his kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help us when needed. You can see in every detail of this property the care and attention that he gives it. It's a beautiful property. Highly recommend worth every penny spent!!!!!!!
Thanks again Eric
Accueil chaleureux.
