Beautiful circular House / Villa in a traditional Italian mountain village

Stunning architect designed villa set in the centre of the sleepy village of San Donato.
The villa boasts a huge living room area, large master bedroom with en-suite and two double bedrooms (one double and one twin room) and a fully fitted kitchen with large fridge, gas/ electric cooker & dish washer as well as a large covered porch area containing a dining & living area with direct access to the pool and sun patio.
The fully mature gardens are a delight and are tended weekly.
The villa is perfectly positioned in the centre of the village and the local restaurant (Chiosco di San Donato) is directly across from the small vineyard in front of the house. The village of San Donato is 2.5 Km from the historical town of Sant Agata Feltria where you can find coffee shops, butchers, supermarkets, pizzeria, restaurants, a theatre (The oldest in the area dating back to the 1600s) and the castle perched on the top of the highest rock in the town. If you enjoy food the area of Montefeltria contains some of the best restaurants for local fresh food and the area itself is a treasure trove of historical towns, castles and museums.
The city state of San Marino is 25 minutes from the house & the Adriatic coast with its many beaches can be reached in 45 minutes.

Mooi huis, centrale ligging maar nachtlawaai
Huis is super. Praktisch ingericht, overdekt terras, zwembad, .. Zou top geweest zijn mocht er rechtover huis geen café/kiosk zijn waar er elke avond feest was tot vroeg in de uurtjes. Karaoke, vrijgezellen, dansfeest.... Je kon niet gaan slapen voor feest gedaan was. Jammer.

Sehr schönes Objekt mit schönem Pool, gemütlicher Sitzgelegenheit. Ausstattung des Hauses durchaus anspruchsvoll. Sinnvoll wären Mückenfenster an jedem Schlafzimmer-Fenster.

Relax, immersi nella natura con tutte le comodità
Casa molto bella e spaziosa situata in un grazioso paesino della montagna romagnola. Il giardino è curatissimo e la piscina molto bella e grande, la veranda veramente fresca e riparata, perfetta per i pasti in famiglia o come spazio relax. I 6 posti letto messi a disposizione nelle tre camere, sono confortevoli (non abbiamo usato il divano letto posto in salla). La salla è molto spaziosa come il suo divano, da accogliere tutti quanti per guardare insieme la TV/un film. L'unica difficoltà riscontrata è che le due TV a disposizione sono collegate solo ad internet. Abbiamo sfruttato i vari ventillatori molto utili per le notti calde. S-Agata Feltria è a meno di 3km e offre un supermarket di proximità, farmacia, poste, ristorante e pizzeria, campi da basket e calcio da poter usufruire gratuitamente fino alle 21.00. Si possono comunque raggiungere facilmente S. Marino e S. Leo (da visitare) o le spiagge di Rimini, Cesenatico ecc..... e delle Marche. S. Donato è un paesino piccolo e tranquillissimo, il cuore del paese è rappresentato dal chiosco di Fabio situato a 10 mt sotto la casa, dove ci si ritrova in un ambinte veramente familiare e dove tutti si conoscono. Fabio e consorte offrono, olte alla inconfondibile ospitalità romagnola, piatti tipici e non solo, su prenotazione (lo consigliamo). Abbiamo passato due settimane di vacanza, in total relax nel fresco della monagna romagnola, pur apprezzando sia di giorno che di notte, nuotatte in piscina. La connessione internet è ottima e ha soddisfatto le esigenze di tutta la famiglia.

Perfect for a peaceful week
This villa is set in beautiful grounds in a small mountain village. The house itself is large and comfortable (very comfy beds!). There are a lot of personal photos throughout which means you very much feel that you are in someone else's home. The pool area, garden and outside seating areas are really beautiful and the garden is really well kept with lots of places to relax. Our week would have been improved by having stronger fans or sleeping at night as we found the house got very hot. We also looked forward to using the music by the pool / TV but the technology got the better of us as we found it all far too complicated to use! The village is small with a local bar which is the heart of the village (always busy!) and we enjoyed a drink there most evenings. The nearest town is a short 4/5 minute drive and has an excellent small supermarket as well as local bakers, butchers etc on the main square as well as bars and restaurants. Further afield San Marino and San Leo were beautiful for evening meal and the teens loved the Skypark which was only 15 mins away.

My family and I visit San Donato on a regular basis and have fallen in love with the people and the area. Due to the costs associated with running a villa of this size we have decided to rent the property and allow others to experience the wonderful hospitality & beautiful scenery we have been lucky enough to experience since we have moved here.

Why they chose this property

The property speaks for itself even before you enter it. Set in the beautiful village of San Donato and nestled behind a small vineyard, the house itself is exceptional because it is completely circular in its design and whilst it is a large house it blends into the locality very well. The inside of the house is extremely spacious and airy and the gardens are mature and well tended by our neighbour on a regular basis.

What makes this property unique

One of the major talking points of the house is the open porch which acts as another living room, where you can relax, eats meals and sit either out of the sun or in the evenings. The gardens & pool area are particularly beautiful and in summertime the flowers in bloom add a distinct country feel to the house. Also the interior design of the house (A complete circle) is a distinctive feature as every exterior wall gently curves .
