Very Clean, Kids loved it! Friendly staff!

Daily events for kids entertainment. Pool was nice, with lazy river. Room was clean and updated. Staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a great stay and we would certainly return.

false advertising

your picture shows a side view of the beach. it appears to be facing the beach, which I thought I was getting. If I had know there was absolutely no smoking, even on balcony, I would have never stayed there. Never been to outside pool and wasn't able to smoke. It is discrimination as far as I am concerned. You have a place next to fence that have several grills to cook on that put off a lot of smoke. Why can't you make that a smoking area? What good did it do for the residences to step across the gate and smoke 10 feet from the pool. Don't you think the smoke is going to go in the area of the non smoking from the wind off the beach? The staff was absolutely wonderful, but I will never stay there again for the two reasons that you have no rooms that are beach front with balconies and it is non smoking everywhere.

Great for families

This property isn't fancy; there's no lobby or food service of any kind. But it's a super easy and fun place for families. The room was clean with plenty of space and the kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. The balcony has seats for two and a nice view. The only downside to the room is shower only--no tub. Access to the pool and beach is easy. The beach is wide, clean, and beautiful, with complimentary chairs and umbrellas if you wake up early. The highlight for us, with two small children, was the large shallow and very fun pool. It's perfect for babies through teens. There's a comfy tv lounge and a few video games. We heard there would be a hard sell upon arrival but were able to avoid it entirely thanks to a well-times toddler tantrum. We would definitely stay here again, especially at the price.

Terrible place to stay

Always trying to sell you a time share.Found food half eaten under the bed,dirty socks under table in living room.I complained to management when I returned home.They told me to send them a letter of what was wrong with the trip and they never got back with me! Poorly managed dirty,not well kept.Don't stay here!

the Coves on Ormond beach

Very nice clean room, had everything you need to cook and eat in the room, comfortable bed,clean,fun pools,great beach,nice chairs and umbrella on the beach every day,very helpful staff,great front desk,coniseur had very helpful information and coupons for local attractions.the picture you see in ad is a little deceiving,rooms are ocean view not ocean front,the buildings run East/west,view is to the north/ south,coniseur is a little pushy with the time share aspect,had to ask her to stop asking,was not there to buy a time share,otherwise she was very helpful with
