Beautiful house in a PERFECT location.
I have nothing but superlatives for both Grindelwald and this apartment.
We enjoyed three nights at this fabulous property. Although the weather did not cooperate, the location of the apartment was wonderful and we were close enough to several adventures. It is also close to shopping and restaurants or grocery shopping if you would like to cook. D was a wonderful host as well. He met us at the apartment when we arrived and gave us some great ideas for activities. He was also very responsive when we had an issue. Would love to come back!
Five-star all the way.
This amazing apartment is right in the heart of Grindelwald with stunning views of the Jungfrau and Eiger from its large balcony. Sitting just above the main street of Grindelwald we walked to shops and restaurants in 1 or 2 minutes. Access to the train station and FirstBahn is a 5 minute walk. The manager was very helpful, easy to reach and responsive. When we return, this will be where we stay. It is well worth the price.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. Look forward to seeing you again,
Excellent apartment with absolutely gorgeous views.
This was our last minute booking and we got very lucky that this place was available. Apartament was very comfortable for 6 people, extremely clean and a walking distance from great restaurants and tourist attractions like the First or Gletscherschlucht in Grindelwald. Diarmuid was great. Very knowledgeable and polite. If you need help planning your day in the area he is the guy to go to. We've had a great time.
Great and confert apartment with breathtaking view.
We had a great time. Location was perfect. View amazing. Apartment is large enough to accommodate us and we felt like home
Grindelwald is set in the alpine heartland of Switzerland known as the Bernese Oberland. Dominated by the world famous Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains it boasts the country's highest density of dramatic scenery. The village is the stating point for hundreds of walking trails, mountain biking trails, paragliding, rafting and much more in the summer months and for its skiing and snowboarding during the winter months when it becomes a lively winter ski resort. Set beneath the towering peak of the Eiger you couldn't be in a more beautiful setting. Its nicknamed 'glacier village' for its proximity to two large seas of ice which are well worth a hike to during the summer months. The main street is packed with little restaurants, cafes and bars , all with terraces for you to take in the views. There is train station in town making it easily accessible from any part of Switzerland.
