Lovely Property with great potential
Good location, lovely house which was nicely presented with good facilities. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again. Just a few negatives which perhaps let it down a bit … Kitchen desperately needs an extractor fan if cooking, house hand held shower did not work, cleaning is only surface - ok at eye level but lots of cobwebs on ceilings, around windows, on higher shelves, top of fridge, under chairs etc. Annex was good but toxic plug-in air freshener left going full blast to mask slight damp odour (I think from just an insufficient extractor or not used in the shower room) the first night was unbearable until we found it and moved it to the house cloakroom which has no windows instead Opening windows works much better in annex. I didn’t see any smoke alarms. There was one still in box under the sink in the annex only. Garden absolutely lovely and private but needs a bit of weeding and some comfy sun chairs rather than house chairs to make best use of it.

Brilliant family holiday home
The house was in a brilliant location, with a family friendly layout and excellent child and dog proof garden, ideal for family fun and BBQ The negatives are that the upstairs shower was unusable and we had to go out to the annex to have a shower, and the small bedroom didn’t have a proper blind so our 1 year old was awake at 4 am because of the light. Would also say if you hire professional cleaners you may need to discuss the cobwebs that were everywhere as everything else was beautifully clean and well presented As a family we had a fantastic time at Bosky house and would come back again

Great family holiday
Bosky House was a great location for our family holiday. It met the criteria we needed as it was both dog and family friendly.

Overpriced for the facilities
This was a disappointing venue. The bedroom in the main house had no wardrobe space and the other bedroom had a large walk-in closet. The rug in the lounge was dirty, stained and in very poor condition. The annexe was very poor. The door into the property was filthy and had never been cleaned, there was dust and grime in a lot of places. The shower was passable but the metal tray to place your things on such as shower gel etc was very rusty and dirty. Apart from a 3 drawer chest there was no where to hang your clothes. This was billed as an exceptional property but frankly for the money it was poor. I object to be told we had to strip the beds and clean the place or you would be charged for not doing so. Especially when the property was not looked after and the dysentery provided was so full of dust etc that despite trying to empty it, it was still full of dirt. Save your money and look for a nicer property.

Lovely stay at Bosky House
Beautiful house and garden. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners have given a great deal of thought to the furnishings/layout of the house and garden, it is a very child and dog friendly property. Wonderful space and light, garden has sun and shade all day. Beautiful walks, close to coast etc. Would definitely recommend. Our dogs loved it too !
