Not quite what we expected

This property is very central - which is good and bad. It is very, VERY noisy at night with lots of noise in the street until 4/5am. But Florence is so compact everywhere is central really! Internally, it is really basic eg: 2 bedside lamps - good - but only one socket so only one could be used, no TV, one wine glass not two - same with the prosecco glass (am guessing they’ve been broken but then not replaced). Light in the very dimly lit bathroom not working and - weirdest of all - the kettle disappeared on our last day! We knew the property manager needed to access the apartment - but he didn’t tell us he would be taking the kettle away! So random! Our communication with him was always very pleasant but he is not readily available and so despite telling us he would take payment 3 days before, he didn’t and so we didn't really know if the property was available for us. All a bit haphazard and disorgnaised. We wouldn’t stay here again

Noisy

A very large and comfortable room with an very nice bath in a fantastic location. BUT, there is a club of some sort above (or maybe next to) the room that is quite noisy until 1-2 am!

Nice apartment and location

The apartment was very nice, and a good location right near Duomo. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. The only issue we had is that when we booked it said the cleaning fee was included in the rate, when we arrived the guy checking us in said the contract they followed the booking up with had a €60 cash deposit that was required at the time of check in. After a long day of international travel and it being 9:30 at night, we weren't in a position to find another location so we were forced to pay it. We are fighting this with VRBO to try to get reimbursed but make sure you lay out and are aware of the fees ahead of time. This was a nice place to stay but we would have stayed somewhere else for the money.
