About Joan Scott
I am retired from the University of Michigan, having lived in Ann Arbor MI. for 39 years. I like to hike, camp, etc., be outdoors in forests and canyons, sing with the Master Chorale of Flagstaff and create ceramic pots. I now live in a house a mile and a half from the townhouse. My son David Scott helps me with the booking.
Joan Scott purchased this Townhouse in 2002
Why Joan Scott chose Sedona
My deceased husband and I found this unit to be a an ideal place for us come to when needing to get away from cold and dreary MI. for a while in the winter, after we retired. And since our daughter lives in Phoenix and son in San Francisco, it was a good place for me to come to alone.

An Amazing 10 Weeks!
My wife and I stayed in this property for 10 weeks as we explored, hiked, and enjoyed the Sedona area. We are also authors and wrote short stories about our adventures there. This property is not new or necessarily very elaborate, but very clean, well provisioned, comfortable, and highly functional for an extended stay such as ours. Perhaps the best thing was the attention shown by the owner (Joan) and her son Dave (manager). Any little thing (very few) and they were highly responsive and diligent. As an added little bonus Scott is a extremely talented musician and plays at various area restaurants and clubs. We saw him play several times, plus he is a great person. We HIGHLY recommend this property!
Oak creek condo
We rented the condo for 2 months, it was a comfortable condo in a very nice area. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Dave was very responsive to any needs. We enjoyed staying there!
Beautiful place in beautiful red rock country in the Village of Oak Creek.
We had a most enjoyable stay. Both the owner and her son (who we dealt with) were considerant and easy to deal with. The townhouse was very well equipped and a pleasure to return to after a day on the area’s beautiful trails. Thank you for sharing this townhouse.
Oh Wow Indeed!
So much thought has gone into providing all the comforts of home. Every time we said, "I wonder if there is a...", there was! The condo is comfortable, well-equipped, and the location is very convenient to everything in the Village. Joan and her son, Dave, are easy to work with and graciously do their best for their guests. We left something behind, and they promptly solved the problem we created. We highly recommend staying in this cute condo--you will not be disappointed!
Clean and nice place. Plenty of mirrors to remind you of yourself
Well kept, functional and comfortable.
Great spot, very comfortable, beautiful area
The condo is really comfortable, reasonably priced and has everything you need to have a really nice stay. The property was really clean and well maintained. It was nice to have two bathrooms, laundry facilities, and basic supplies. The area is great. We mostly hiked the area and everyone is really welcoming, but there are a lot of other things to do. Joan does a good job communicating and wants to make your stay as successful as possible.
Map
The Village of Oak Creek/Sedona is surrounded by some of the most gorgeous scenery in the west. With famous red rock buttes and monoliths, pine and juniper forests, and its mild and sunny climate, it is a premier place for easy or challenging hiking, biking, photography, scenicdrives, golf, and mining and native American historical sites. Prehistoric ruins sites are many and notable within 2 hours. Slide Rock State Park in Oak
Creek Canyon is a natural water playground. Red Rock State Park is a pleasure. The Village of Oak Creek has 3 golf courses, Snap Fitness, and the Hilton Spa. Sedona's art galleries rival Santa Fe's. Are you a painter? It's a painter's paradise. Or take an art/media or healing arts workshop or, if here long enough, sign up for a ceramics or painting course at the Sedona Art Center.
