Why Rose Perkins chose Robe
Lucy's Cottage Robe has been built with attention to detail ensuring that it blended in with Old Robe Town. With the paddock rock that was used to build the cottage sourced locally many people thought that the cottage was a renovation, so our aim to keep it within the old style has certainly been achieved.

A beautiful property in a perfect location!
We absolutely loved staying at Lucy’s Cottage. It is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location is ideal and we will definitely return. Thank you Rose for your wonderful hospitality.
Lovely cottage in a central location
A lovely, well appointed, clean cottage. Unfortunately, the cottage’s internet was unserviceable during our three night stay, due to a technical issue. While the owner unsuccessfully attempted to address this, I understand that the service is patchy, in normal circumstances. Internet connectivity was a key criterion in selecting this accommodation, so we were disappointed that our need was not met.
Otherwise, we were happy with the cottage and it’s location, and enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful stone cottage in the heart of Robe.
Well appointed cottage with lovely interiors and framed views of the township. Well located close to the Main Street with shops and cafés, also close to town beach. Rose and Jack accommodating and friendly hosts.
Excellent stay. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Home away from Home
The cottage is beautifully presented and Rose has been meticulous with the decorations throughout. Everything in the cottage is brand new and couches are nice and comfortable. We only stayed the one night as we were heading back to Adelaide after spending a week in Victoria. We loved the cottage and would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future, but next time it would be longer. The kingsize beds are extremely comfortable and very warm, and the wood fire warmed up the place beautifully. As we travelled in winter and the weather was extremely cold, we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the outside area, but I could imagine on a nice summer evening, it would be great to sit outside and enjoy the sunsetting while sipping on a nice cold beverage and listening to the sound of the sea. When we made the booking, Rose indicated that the car park is tight and that we may find difficulty to park our vehicle. We agree the park is tight, mainly because of the narrow road leading into the entrance, but we managed without too much difficulty to fit our SUV into the park, so if care is taken (even if someone stands outside the vehicle and guides the driver) it is easy to get a vehicle in and also out again. The cottage is setup for 2 couples and both bedrooms are large with ensuites. Do yourself a favour and book it, you won't be disappointed. Stayed in June 2018. Chris M.
