Make memories at this 2 BR, 2BA lakefront home on Chautauqua Lake. Easy access to Chautauqua Institution and Bemus Point by boat or by car.

This home is nicely decorated, bright, and comfortable and has the ideal set up for a perfect vacation or getaway. If you're looking for a change from staying in the Institution, this home can be a nice alternative.

Brew your morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the lake or be cozy and enjoy a summer thunderstorm from the enclosed porch with large sliding glass screened windows so you can feel the breeze. This room contains a sitting area, coffee table, and a dining table for lakeside dining.

A large yard complete with picnic table and grill, provides the perfect view and space for entertaining.

The dock is great for swimming and fishing and includes posts and lines to secure your boat.

At night when the sun goes down, gather around a bonfire and relax in an Adirondack chair by the lakeside fire pit. Make some s’mores and toast to the day.

Bedrooms: Two (2) BR plus loft area. Bedrooms are on second level. Large master bedroom faces the lake and includes a queen size bed, TV, and dvd player. Second bedroom includes a queen bed and a queen size futon. A loft area includes twin bed.

Bathrooms: Two (2) full bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower with glass doors. Upstairs, the full bathroom features a charming clawfoot tub with shower curtain enclosure.

Kitchen: Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, cookware, utensils, glasses, cups and plates.

Air Condition: Window unit in each bedroom.

Laundry: Washer and dryer.

Lovely cottage. Great time

The property is lovely. It is very well equipped with everything you need, and many extras you wouldn’t think of. Everything is of good quality and working order. My parents really enjoyed the sun porch and never left the cottage the entire week we were there. It was a bit of a challenge turning around a crew cab truck and 21 foot boat, but once that was accomplished, there was plenty of parking. The dock was also nice. It accommodated our boat just fine, and had electric available to charge the batteries at night. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

Great family vacation!

I would highly recommend this property! Our favorite aspects were the fully furnished front porch with a beautiful view of the lake and the flat large grassy lawn. We also enjoyed being able to hop over to bemus point for dinner and ice cream. There's much more to do but we couldn't pull ourselves away from this serene setting!

August at the Lake

The owner provided my family with everything we needed for a memorable, great week, including perfect weather. This was a new location for us at Chatauqua, that we hope, won’t be our last.

Sweet cottage with a view of the lake

This sweet and comfy cottage was perfect for our family of four, where we could physically distance from others during the pandemic. The location was perfect- easy to find and right off of the highway. The view of the lake and the sky every morning were stunning. It was amazing how much the sky changed each day. We also headed over to Lake Erie State Park for views of Lake Erie and some disc golf. A panoramic view of Lake Erie was also available at Noble Winery, where we could safely sit outdoors. Enjoyed take out Chinese, and from Ellicotville Brewing. And of course Perry's Ice Cream!

This property has been in our family for over 60 years. My grandparents bought it as a cottage and passed it down to my parents, who later winterized it making it a year round home. We've always called it "The Cottage". We lived in Buffalo but my siblings and I all grew up spending every summer here. I was lucky enough to purchase it in 2014 and keep it in the family! Its a very special place to make lifelong memories.
