After a day of hiking or hitting the slopes, unwind in front of the gas fireplace. Swap stories on the large sectional sofa, or watch a movie on the TV. Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with a queen bed and TV. A twin-over-twin bunk tucked in the corner is perfect for kids. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The other guest room is just off the entryway and has a queen bed. A bathroom with granite vanity and tub/shower combination is right around the corner. Shared laundry facilities can be found onsite. The entryway offers a bench and coat racks so that you can store your gear.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

This ski-in/ski-out condo is just steps from the lifts and Village. Catch a movie at the cinemas or do a little shopping. In winter you can go ice skating, and in summer you can roller skate. Summertime activities include hiking, biking, and water sports. Kings Beach State Park and Recreation Center is just a 15-minute drive away. After a day of outdoor adventures, you're sure to be hungry. Luckily you're just steps away from an array of dining options at the Village. For casual fare with a laid-back atmosphere, check out Rubicon Pizza or Tavern 6330'. And for something more upscale, try Petra Wine Bar. All are less than a 10-minute walk away.

Two night stay in condo.
The condo is in a great skin in and ski out location. It has a nice big window overlooking the ski run. The kitchen and bathroom amenities were stocked. We had a few issues though. On the listing it says you get to use the recreation center for $2 a person but it is actually $10 a person. Our recreation center parking pass did not work to get into the parking lot and after we reached out to vacasa about it, we were supposed to get a call back about it and no one did. We had to park outside of the recreation center and walk. The water in the downstairs bath was not warm and we had to talk a cold shower. I’m guessing if multiple guests take a shower the hot water runs out. The pillow covers upstairs weren’t changed just flipped the other way around and were dirty. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. The bedroom mattresses are very uncomfortable, I kept waking up sore and my arms would go numb throughout the night. The television did have Netflix, prime, HBO etc., which is a plus.

Property was great, management company was not
Great location, kitchen was well stocked. Upon arrival everything was expected except the upstairs TV was missing (replaced with a fan) - not a big deal. Second issue was there were no parking passes as described, called the management company and they said they would call back - I stayed a whole week and never received a call back or parking passes, I followed up with the management company and was told the local team was aware and would get back to me…. They never did - so park at your own risk.

Great spot for easy ski access!
We had a great weekend staying here for spring skiing! We were two couples looking to enjoy Northstar's closing weekend. Close access to the village and gondola, comfortable spot to hang out, and good space. We had a couple of issues: 1. Kitchen was missing some basic supplies (hot pads, measuring cups, measuring spoons) 2. The parking passes were not there as promised. We called and were told they would be brought out but never were (we didn't have any issues, but it did make us nervous that our car might get towed) 3. There was suppose to be recreation pass in the unit, but that was also missing.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
