Lovely comfortable home!
This inviting cabin was more than we ever expected! It is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The porch is so nice with furniture and the view is breathtaking! The stars were twinkling so brightly!! The only downside is absolutely no phone service or WiFi on our phones!
Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and its stunning views. We do apologize about the cell and WiFi service, which can be unpredictable in the mountains. We look forward to having you back again soon!
Beautiful inside and outside.
We were there for just a weekend but it was a wonderful experience. The views were spectacular in every direction.
beautiful view, close neighbors on both sides, limited privacy, dryer didn't work properly
The house was beautiful and better supplied than expected. It took 3 runs to get clothes dry in the dryer. Many light bulbs were burned out. Most bulbs were only 40 watts, so reading was difficult after dark. Neighbors liked to party with loud music at night, so resting was not always restful. To use a bathroom, you need to go through a bedroom. During the night, this is problematic when people are sleeping on the couch. Some cords aren't long enough for lamps making them useless. This was definitely a one time thing after all of these issues.
If I could give this cabin 6 stars out of 5, I would. We stayed at Angels Perch #54 July 28th-August 3rd. Had a great time, in an amazing cabin! Also, very impressed with how Natural Retreats handled our reservations, etc., from start to finish. Starting with Clarissa/Charissa (sp?) at telephone reservations, and also Alex Wampler, and Colleen at the check-in cabin, just inside the gate. Then, there was Kevin and Matt in maintenance, who helped promptly with a couple of minor housekeeping issues. I know I'm forgetting some others, suffice it to say, EVERYONE was amazing! This is the 3rd time we've stayed in a cabin in the Smoky's, but the FIRST time at Brother's Cove, and also, the FIRST time someone gave us a map that was actually accurate to get us up the mountain to our cabin. (some other cabin communities that we stayed at in the past had maps that were terrible)The hot tub was awesome, the grill worked perfectly, plenty of kitchen of utensils, etc. Plenty of room for a family of 6 to spread out! The view of the mountains is like something out of a movie! There was some rain while we were there, and the fog/"smoke" was thick at some points, and breathtaking! The rain also gave us the opportunity to take full advantage of the pool table! The swimming pool was neat also, just down the mountain at the lodge. The views from the pool are breathtaking also, IMO.All in all, an unforgettable experience!
