Mr John Garratt
About Mr John Garratt
Gill and John Garratt named this 'Happy Cottage' after a guest said how happy she was staying there. We have tried to make this a 'home from home' with all the facilities you would expect, high level of comfort and convenience. Warm and cosy in Winter, light and airy in Summer. Access directly onto the lovely Cornish stone patio to take your glass of wine and have a barbeque. Quiet, leafy and lovely lawns, beautiful flower beds.
Mr John Garratt purchased this Cottage in 2002
Why Mr John Garratt chose Falmouth
Gill & John have been coming to Falmouth for 30 years - they used to camp on the very spot where their holiday cottage is situated. Their children and friends love this spot and we have all enjoyed many happy Summers and Winter weekends, Christmas and New Year here. The local beach is quiet and traditional, a short walk from the cottage. Gill has travelled widely having worked on Cruise Ships - Falmouth is her favourite place.
What makes this Cottage unique
A beautiful, modern cottage, relaxing and calming. Wake up to bird song and go to sleep under the amazing night sky that is very clear from the cottage, free of town lights. The gardens have been tended by the same staff for decades, their artistic influence and experience mean many flower beds bursting with colour and local Cornish shrubs and bushes. Happy Cottage has open lawns at the rear with palm trees and an old Oak tree in the centre. safe and secure for the children to play whilst you enjoy that cup of coffee after supper.
