About Jenn Brown
We have recently relocated to Tawas City now that Sean has transitioned out of the military. We both enjoy the outdoors, running, boating, yoga, and classic rock (Maybe Sean more than me).
Jenn Brown purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Jenn Brown chose National City
My husband is from the area, in fact his parents live right around the corner. We always said we'd move up here once he retired from the Navy, and when this little gem came on the market we jumped on it. We are happy to share The Little Red Cabin with those who are up for a little adventure, relaxation, and wonder. Enjoy!
What makes this Cabin unique
The Little Red Cabin is not only rustically cute and perfectly located on a beautiful lake, it also has an interesting history. The cabin is almost 100 years old and originally served as the local trading post run by Native Americans during hunting seasons. It was later used as a private, one room hunting cabin. Then in the 1960's was made into a vacation location with an extended porch, bedroom, and indoor plumbing of course. This cabin has been through a lot of changes over the years, but one thing has stayed the same. It's always been painted bright red!

The little red cabin was a nice respite after racing. The view from the waterfront was relaxing.
Just what we were looking for
Although we didn't have good weather for our trip, the property was just what we needed. My son wanted to use the kayak and my dog enjoyed swimming even if it was a little chilly for me.
The little red cabin was so charming, and the property right on the lake was absolutely beautiful. They had everything we needed and more available to us. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!
We had a great time.
Great place and location
Met all expectations!
Perfect for our family and pup! Water was clear with mostly sandy bottom. Use of the row, paddle boat and kayak were lots of fun and kept our 10 year old very busy. Great location with trees for shade and privacy. We will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing your awesome little cottage with us!
Lumberman's Monument and Iargo Springs are a must see!
