This apartment is in a beautiful location near the Tagus River (Rio Tejo) where you can go for nice walks along the river. Great Portuguese home experience in a very typical Portuguese Historical Suburb (Bairro Histórico) built over 100 years ago. Easy access to public transports. Algés train station is only a 10-15 minute walk and tram is only a 5 minute walk. Shops are very nearby as well as nice local restaurants and cafés.

This place is perfect for big and small families with or without kids.
Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, cable TV with close to 200 channels in all languages, fast WiFi internet with 200Mbps fibre speed, nice sized Queen Bed in one room and 2 Single Beds on the second bedroom. Can provide cot upon request. Apartment is on the third floor with no elevator.

For the last 20 years we have shared our home between Lisbon and Sydney.
Travelling has given us great experience in hosting, so we feel we know exactly what travellers need in terms of being comfortable and this Apartment is a perfect example of that.

Why they chose this property

This Apartment is located in a beautiful area, with the magical Tagus River (Rio Tejo) right outside the door and with a great pedestrian road along the river where you can take long walks next to the river.
Algés e a town with everything you need, a market with fresh meat, fish and veggies, nice restaurants, bars, cafés and public transport.
Only 20 minutes away from Cascais and 10 minutes away from Cais do Sodré.

What makes this property unique

Lisbon is now the "place to be" in Europe. It has won many awards for all different reasons, most beautiful city, friendlier, cosmopolitan, great quality/price, most beautiful street, great night life, great food, and many, many other reasons. It's not easy these days to find a nice Apartment close to the water and so close to Lisbon, so this place will give you that unique experience of being so close to the river and at the same time so close to everything else you will need to make your holiday an amazing experience.
