The view cannot be beat, but the rest...
While the view from this unit was spectacular, there was much that left us with an overall bad impression of this place. The billing right off the bat was confusing, coming from "Made Comfy", and the multiple different communications and multiple prices thrown at us. Despite all of this communication, including answering questions ahead of time that there would indeed be a designated parking space, this was left out of the entry instructions, and upon attempting to contact various people to answer this question on 3 different occasions, was finally contacted on our final day to be informed there was street parking only, and also then given the wifi login information. In addition to this the balcony furniture was flipped and tossed in a disarray (which hopefully was due to high winds at some point), needless to say we did not return this furniture to its found position as instructed. There were several screws in the walls various places that looked as though wall hangings were simply taken, hopefully by the owners and not previous tenants. Additionally, the bathroom door handle was loose and fell off repeatedly. The living room couch appeared to recline electronically, though seemed stuck in a partially reclined position with no controls that we could find to adjust this in any way.
Aside from these things, the space was quite roomy, the beds were very comfortable the neighborhood was very nice and as mentioned the view was wonderful.
With its sweeping views of the harbour, city and North Shore, Point Piper is Sydney's most prestigious address. This is where captains of industry and even the prime minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull, call home. It's all about privacy, with epic mansions ringed by high fences and architecturally designed apartment blocks competing for space and a view of the water.
