The large family room with glass sliding doors opens to the backyard where a sea of green grass and the majestic Koolau mountains await you. Lots of space for everyone in the family to relax, play and enjoy paradise.

Waimanalo is a slow, sleepy beach town with a beautiful six mile long white sandy beach, the longest stretch of sandy shoreline on O`ahu, the white coral sand is bathed by the turquoises blue waters. It’s crowd free and rated #1 Beach in the USA by Yahoo Travel (5/21/15). The Ko’olau Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop view. While on the beach enjoy views of the neighbor islands Maui and Molokai, take a long stroll or get some exercise by jogging barefeet alongside the blue waters.

Waimanalo Beach/Town is located on the south east side of Oahu. This quiet town has a few locally owned restaurants, small stores and one grocery store. There are also quick service foods such as McDonalds, Jack in the Box and Subway. It is just 25 minutes from Honolulu International Airport, Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head and minutes from attractions such as Sea Life Park and Hanauma Bay. Kailua, Lanikai and Hawaii Kai are just 10 minutes away, with fine dining, shopping, cinema’s and more.

Steps to the beach!!!!

Great home… everything we needed for a beautiful beach vacation!!!!! Sabrina , the homeowner, was easily accessible if we needed her.. We traveled all over the Island and stopped at many beaches .. we all decided that our Waimanalo beach was the best one around!!! It felt like our own private beach!!!! We miss it already!!!!!!

Lovely home

Lovely 3 BR home, a 2 minute walk from beautiful Waimanalo beach. The home full of all the amenities one needs. We relaxed in the spacious family room and large back yard when not at the beach. Nicely accommodated the family & friends who came to visit. Loved the sounds of the many birds who welcomed us to the neighborhood. Sabrina was an attentive and lovely host, we will be back!

Great beach stay off the beaten path

I booked this house for our family (with a 9 m/o) to meet up with our friends from across the country and their 8 m/o baby for the month of January. After having looked at multiple Oahu properties of similar size and cost on VRBO, we chose this one because it seemed like the best choice for infants (there is already some baby gear and toys in the house) and proximity to a nice beach. We were not disappointed, in fact the property and location exceeded our expectations. Waimanalo has a very cozy feel with many local, full-time residents who were very nice, and we loved the tree-lined beach that always had some shade no matter when we went. Also, Sabrina was very responsive to our needs and requests.

I was born and raised in this home. All of my fond memories are from this special home where I learned to ride my bicycle without training wheels in the backyard on the grass, took walks on the beach with my Aunty Thelma to find puka shells, learned to boogie board, and had great big family dinners cooked by my grandma- to name a few. Now I have a family which was raised in this home. We have created new memories here and continue the nostalgia. We now spend time back and forth from the mainland to Hawaii.

Family home passed down through the generations. Generations of wonderful family memories were and are still being made here. Waimanalo is filled with natural beauty and this home is filled with aloha. Our heart and soul lives here now and forever.
