Beach and Bay Views - A Quiet and Relaxed and Fun place to stop awhile.
About Robert Evans
The land was purchased by our grandparents, who then built a rough 1 room cabin. Later, in about the early 1960's they built the curent cabin hey have since pased away, as has our mother- we have kept this in the family as it is such a beautiful location and a great place for the family to have holidays, with plenty of options on water sport activities as well. We hope you enjoy your stay at our place!
Robert Evans purchased this House in 1956
Why Robert Evans chose Long Beach
My Mother loved it so much when she went down with a friend at the age of 16, that she convinced the family to go - they too fell in love with Long Beach and the Bay, and here we are!!! We just cannot let it go, the diversity of beach and bay and surf and the town and the zoo and antiques at Mogo - seems to be something for everyone to create memories from. AND the kids never want to stop with all that beach and swimming so close by that you can watch them from the from deck.

Unbeatable location, charming cottage
We are a young married couple with two toddlers and of all the places we could have stayed, we are so glad to have found this gem. The location of this property is absolutely incredible, with a beach right outside the front door and shops an easy drive or walk away. The cottage itself is in such good condition and has all of the cooking utensils, dishes, and amenities you could ever need. There are books, board games, puzzles, and loads of natural light to enjoy. There is a massive window in the lounge room from which we watched some beautiful sunsets and a storm across the ocean. It was so lovely to listen to the waves at night too.
You’ll need to bring your own linen. We brought tea towels with us too, and in hindsight we could have brought a bath mat as well. The bed squeaks a fair bit, which was a little troublesome only because we were trying to sleep with a baby in our room, but otherwise not a problem at all. Overall, a fantastic place to say. Thanks so much Rob for hosting us!
Cozy shack on the beach
Cute shack on the beach, very convenient.
Great, humble home.
We truly enjoyed the 'hospitality from afar'. Had a real home-feeling and accommodated us well. The neighbourhood was fantastic and animal life abounding. Noted a few dolphin sightings, kangaroos and numerous sea life. Very enjoyable experience for the children. Looking forward to our next visit.
Welcoming family beach house
Such a great location..directly across the road from a beautiful safe beach..sparkling clean modern kitchen, fabulous shower, comfy sofa and a good supply of games, and books if you don’t want to chill out watching tv at night or in bad weather. We had long walks on the beach and explored rock pools with lots of small fish. We saw small rays in the water across the road and watched dolphins glide across the water while we sat in bed....Remember to take all linen including tea towels and there is no wifi.
Fantastic! Peaceful, perfect location
I had a lovely stay in my favourite place on the South Coast, Long Beach, sitting on the verandah watching the world go by, the kangaroos and the weather rolling in and out across the bay. Perfect little cabin, clean and cosy and has everything you could need. I will be back for sure! Victoria :)
Thanks for the feed back.
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and shared part of what has been our wonderful experiences of this special place!!!
