With very few neighbors, a private dock, and trees all around, you'll enjoy quiet seclusion during your stay.

A large screened porch and deck offer lots of space to spread out for meals, reading, or observing wildlife.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom comfortably accommodate up to four travelers.

The kitchen is well-equipped to include full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, crock pot, blender, dishes, flatware, and more.

The house has internet; smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+; a Playstation; plus a small movie library and video games for your entertainment.

Bring your boat or kayaks to enjoy the lake; or picnic, swim, and fish at the dock. The driveway provides ample parking for your boat trailer.

This lakeside retreat is only 20 minutes off of I-77, between Columbia and Charlotte. It has a rural setting with the convenience of nearby Wateree State Park.

***PLEASE NOTE:*** Duke Energy has drawn down the lake for a construction project. We expect our dock to be dry for the duration of 2023. You will be able to beach your boat near the dock and tie it up, but you will not be able to pull all the way up to the dock. This does not affect your ability to kayak or otherwise use the dock.

Christmas cozy

We loved the cottage. Just perfect. The screened in porch was my favorite. We watched the wild life and enjoyed a hot beverage. The cottage was clean everything we needed was there. We will be visiting again.

Beautiful place not much fishing

The cabin was beautiful but the pictures need to be updated can't fish from doc grass is shoulder high around dock cannot get boat in dock or fish from the dock very cozy cabin very clean pictures need to be updated of the lake and not recommended for someone who wants to fish from the dock or both your duck or swim

quiet comfortable cabin

Stayed 4 nights while visiting a friend. Very nice lakeside cabin. Very Clean and Comfortable, with a nice kitchen. Would stay again if we ever get back to SC.

Great Retreat

Most of the time it was my husband and I. Our daughter came over some, they live in Ridgeway. Would love to use this place again, a spot to stay near her family but not stay with them. perfect. loved it. Will rent again.

What makes this property unique

The Lake House is just 20 minutes off of I-77, convenient to Columbia and Charlotte residents. With its rural setting, there are very few neighbors, and lots of trees for privacy. The large porches give you plenty of space to relax, read, and listen to the sounds of nature. The small floating dock is great for fishing, swimming, tanning, and enjoying the sunset. The state park campground is nearby; it offers fuel, small conveniences, food, play park, beach, and boat ramp.
