No air conditioning made for an uncomfortable stay in the summer. Location was convenient. Lots of space for a family. Pool was great. Beach close by. Unfortunately main floor toilet was inoperable. Management was slow to reply.
Place was run down a little bit

Did the job -- but not as described.
This unit offers cost-effective accommodation in a neighbourhood with good public transport options, three good sized rooms; it is fresh and bright, secure and was fairly clean. The mall downstairs was very convenient. There is underground parking for 2 cars.
However, it had shortcomings in several areas and was not 5 -star hotel luxury living. If the description was more accurate and the communication with the managers more effective, I'd score this more highly.
Most importantly renters should know that it does not sleep 8 (and we booked for 8). There were mattresses for 7 (one single mattress under a queen bed), but no bedding for the single or any mattress or bedding for the 8th guest (luckily we had camping gear in the car). Nor was there enough cutlery or dishes for 8 - just four of most things. So, luxury it was not.
We weren't able to access either the gym or the pool - we located them but the key did not open the door.
And most importantly, we were not informed of how to access the unit until less than 24 hours before our booking and only after sending 3 emails, 7 texts and two attempts by HomeAway staff to make contact on our behalf. This was not a relaxing way to start a holiday at peak season in Sydney. So make sure you have good communication well in advance if you plan to stay here.
The closest Bus stop is across the street from Lobby. Take bus 400 to go directly to Sydney Airport and Westfield Eastgarden (biggest Shopping Mall in the area)
Bus stop at 747 Anzac Parade (180m from the Apartment Lobby) has buses that will go directly to Sydney City and University of NSW.
Bus stop at 717 Anzac Parade has 400 bus that take you directly to Bondi Junction. From here you can go to the famous Bondi Beach by bus again.
Bus stop on 868 Anzac Parade has buses that take you directly to Maroubra Beach.
