The Location - This apartment is centrally located which means that guests are ideally placed for the towns vibrant and lively atmosphere. Enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants available on your door step,boutique shopping, cinema and a golf course near by. Plus its just 300 metres to D'Albora Marina and Nelson Bay Beach, which is the gateway to a selection of aquatic activities, including dolphin and whale cruises and water park, a large childrens playground and plenty of shaded areas to enjoy a picnic or BBQ.

The Apartment - Located on the top (4th) floor, this apartment is spread over two levels, with ducted air conditioning throughout and boosting plenty of natural light. The lower level has a balcony leading to the open plan living and dining area, with a mounted flat screen TV and DVD player, board games, craft box, books and DVD's. Wi-Fi is also available at the property. The fully equipped kitchen with Lavazza Pod Coffee Machine, cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The master bedroom with a queen bed, ensuite with a shower and a balcony, the second bedroom with a queen bed and the main bathroom which offers a separate shower and bath.

The upper level is accessed by an internal spiral staircase and has two more bedrooms, each with queen beds and a bathroom. This level also has access out to the arched under cover roof top terrace providing an outdoor dining setting and gas outdoor kitchen which offers elevated distant water views. Property offers internal laundry with a front loading washing machine and dryer. There is also undercover secure parking for one car, with lift access to the apartment.

There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Convenient location and comfortable place.

We enjoyed our stay at this place. Very comfortable 2 nights stay with good amenities. We had to make our own beds with linen provided which didn't bother us. There is a charge to have the beds made. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything one would need including foil, cling wrap etc. The heating worked well as it was cold while we were there. The place has some wear and tear. The beds and furniture were comfortable, however the burgundy lounge could be replaced. The lock to the terrace did not work. Communication with the property manager was not possible. The number to ring took you to a call centre and I could not get any additional information from them apart from them reading what was already in the listing. Only one key was provided so we had to be extra careful.

Yacaaba stay

From checking in to departure was a nightmare. Key pick up was hard to find. Air conditioning had a note on controller out of order awaiting part. Temp for 2 days was 40+. Owner informed us the unit had been fixed!!! Property was unclean. Perhaps cleaning fee should be reimbursed!! We had to go to supermarket to buy toilet paper and tea towels on arrival. Garage remotes x2 had flat batteries!! PRD Real Estate were unhelpful. On returning keys I informed them about the batteries. Young lady gave me a trout powt which implied " tell someone who cares. We have stayed at two properties in Nelson Bay and both have been sub-standard. We are world travellers who rarely give adverse reviews. My wife said she will only stay in properties with a reception in future!

Great stay in the centre of town

3 Nights at Nelson Bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Apartment suit our needs and was clean when we checked in. However, it was in need of some maintenance. In particular, 2 of the bathrooms had leaks from the shower cucible. So were the curtain blinds where some were broken and fallen off.
