Location - This delightful holiday house is situated in the peaceful suburb of Boat Harbour. Sitting directly opposite bush land and a foot path weaving through the bushland takes you down to the lovely calm waters of Boat Harbour Beach. Small trailer boats can be launched off this beach. By road it is a convenient 650m to Boat Harbour Beach and 800m to Kingsley Beach (both unpatrolled). Also just 800m to the rocky ocean end of Boat Harbour is a fantastic spot to view Humpback Whales (Northern migration: Mid May to August, Southern Migration: August to Mid November) and Dolphins. You are sure to spot some wildlife on your stay at Boat Harbour. Other stunning surf beaches are located close by including One Mile Beach, 1.2km from house, this is a patrolled beach and has many facilities such as kiosk, beach hire, resaturant and surf school . Anna Bay is 3km away and offers a range of shops, restaurants and gateway to the captivating Stockton sand dunes and Birubi beach which is also a dog friendly beach. Nelson Bay is a lovely 9.5km drive.
The House - My Shell is a charming and inviting single level holiday house, with reverse cycle ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans to all main rooms & bedrooms. It has WiFi access and is pet friendly (small dogs only) Please be mindful of ticks in the bushland especially in the summer months. Entering the house, to your left is a comfortable carpeted formal lounge room with large TV and DVD, plus a study area with desk and an arm chair for reading a good novel. To your right is bedroom one and two, both with queen sized beds, bedroom two has a private ensuite with shower. Carrying on around the house you will come to a three way bathroom with corner bath and shower. Continuing down the hallway brings you to a tiled open plan kitchen, dining and family room area. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a wall oven, a ceramic BOSCH stovetop, Miele dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a granite breakfast bar with 2 stools. Although the kitchen overlooks the main living area and back entertainment area it also has sliding door access to the carpeted formal lounge room area. The paved undercover entertainment area has an outdoor dining setting, gas BBQ and two sun chairs.The internal laundry positioned off the main living area comes with a top loading washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities plus back door access to the rear clothes line.
Other features of this property include a double lock-up garage with a Table Tennis and patio access plus driveway parking for 2 vehicles or your boat trailer. There is a second seating area in the garden which has been named The Crows Nest.
