Awesome house

Awesome house and location. Loved the backyard. Only thing that went wrong was the alarm keyring was broken so we couldn't turn off the alarm when entering the house. Would stay here again.

Old, dirty and a big rip off!

First thing when we got there at 3pm checkin time, the cleaners were still cleaning the house so we went for a walk, when we got back half an hour later they just left and all the floors in the house were wet with mopping. We discovered the house to be very dark even with all blinds opened because of the wraparound terrace that blocks all the light. All the windows were extremely dirty like they were never washed with lots of cobwebs inside the house. No BBQ or stove/oven lighters. Outside laundry door was locked with no keys so we had to call them to come unlock it.No washing powder. Some doors scraped hard along floor and overall it was old 70's style house. Old sticky kitchen cutlery that we had to wash before use. Dirty big stain on the carpet in the bedroom with squeaky uncomfortable beds and old soft worn out pillows. No air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Outside was dirty and untidy with a huge 2m high pile of dead palm tree branches and garden waste in the backyard, spoiling the view. With pegs thrown across the long grass. There was no instructions on how to operate the spa just like many reviews mention. After removing the extremely heavy spa cover that was hard to lift even with 3 people we discovered one dead frog in the half filled spa that stunk bad and one live frog crawling out of the murky water. Everyone was saying there is no way they would risk going into that dirty water. When we turned on the spa we noticed that only half of the jets worked and not very good without air bubbles even when adjusting air intake. There was no way of changing the water because there were no hoses so we didn't use the spa at all. On the last few days when the spa started to overflow with rain we placed the cover back on. Only to be charged $500 for damages to spa cover. We left the cover in the same condition we found it and there is no way that we could have damaged it just by lifting it off and placing it back on. We suspect the owner has tried this on others because there are far too many reviews mentioning the fact they were not happy with not being provided with spa instructions. This is my fist time using this platform as I usually use another. I never had problem with any of my stays. I only chose to use it this time because it was about $200 cheaper for this house than other platform but I have learned my lesson and I will never use it again, especially when this wasn't run by private owner but by an agency. We don't recommend this house.

Great property and location

Great property for 3 couples, location is beautiful and a joy to be able to walk and ride bikes arounds the area. only suggestion is maybe a shower put into the second bathroom to make a shower/bath to help after swimming and spa days. And instructions on use of gas oven, spa etc. Fridge door doesn't close properly either. But definitely worth the stay

Great spot for a family vacation

My family stayed here over Christmas and New Years 2019. The pictures of the property are accurate and the house was clean. The house has 4 good sized bedrooms, 3 of which have fans. The room with the bunk bed does not, which makes sense, however the room did get quite hot. We did not see a pedestal fan at the property. The configuration of the lounge, dining and kitchen makes for easy socialisation. We made use of the BBQ and the outside spa. The property backs straight on to a reserve, followed by water. Which is nice, however it is important to note for those intending to bring children that the property is not fenced (no front side or back fencing). We had to touch base with the property manager a couple of times, communication was good. The neighbours were great. Very minor feedback: the outside of the house had a fair few cobwebs outside. The front screen door slams shut and is surprisingly loud (might need the mechanism at the top serviced). It also would have been nice if a small amount of tea, coffee and milk were provided for the first day (something other places we have stayed at have provided). Overall a great place for a family holiday. Would definitely stay again :)

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loves the location and house beds very comfortable could use a good tidy outside and big patch of mould in lounge room very disappointing
