This architecturally designed home is an absolute delight.
Set amongst a tranquil, natural environment in the coastal township of Skenes Creek, just a short drive from Apollo Bay is where you will find this rare gem. Imagine you, your family or your friends enjoying a well-deserved holiday in this stunning, contemporary home nestled amongst the backdrop of Otway national park.
If food is your passion, a short 3-minute drive will see you at Chris's Beacon Point restaurant, perched on a rise above Skenes creek, where you can enjoy fine cuisine while taking in those breathtaking, sensational ocean/Otway views. During your stay, why not enjoy a day at the beach? Just a very short stroll will see you at the Skenes Creek beach where you can take a dip, surf, try your luck at surf fishing or simply enjoy relaxing on the beach, before returning to your home away from home.
Looking for more? Take the short trip into Apollo Bay and avail yourselves of the many cafes and restaurants that dot the foreshore, where you can enjoy a variety of local produce. You will also find 2 supermarkets and a plethora of retail outlets where you can browse the unusual items on offer, purchasing a memento of your stay along the great ocean road.
The property is set out over 2 levels. The ground floor consists of open plan kitchen, dining and living areas with timber flooring, a main bedroom with ceiling sweep fan, ensuite with shower and toilet, and a beautiful deck area that complements and extends out from the living area where you can enjoy your BBQ in the tranquility of a bush setting. You will also find a modern, well-equipped laundry on this level as well.
The lower ground level features 2 large bedrooms (one with its own large timber decked area) and a second living area featuring polished concrete flooring that flows into the bedrooms. The couch in the living area can be folded out into a sofa bed. The main bathroom has a separate shower, toilet and vanity.
