New , Clean , Great Location

nice to stay and comfirtable
Great location, nice bathroom. Beds not the most comfortable but everything else makes up for it.

Convenient though exposed
The position is incredibly convenient for the CBD, the Melbourne baths and Melbourne University. So that suited me nicely. The apartment was small but entirely as expected - thank you. I know that you didn't want me to take the dry linen out of the dryer - but leaving the dryer to continue operating (particularly unattended) is a fire hazard. So I took the linen out, and folded it on one of the chairs. It was completely randomly unexpected that there were no window blinds; I found that extraordinary. It made privacy difficult, but more than that - the light poured in from the local neon signs at night making sleep a bit more difficult. The kitchen was well equipped and convenient. The bathroom was fine; most people would expect a hair dryer, and I couldn't find one, so just did without. It would be worth letting your tennants know that they must actively lock the door when they leave; I left the apartment assuming it would lock once the door was shut - so inadvertently left it unlocked when I went out for dinner.

Immensely convenient surroundings. We're situated just off the corner of Bouverie & Victoria St, only a 2-5min walk to Queen Victoria Market, RMIT or Melbourne Central station with access to everything all under the one roof.
You're only a short stroll away from QV, Emporium, Myer, David Jones, Chinatown, Swanston St and more.
Great boutique bars, cafes and attractions around the area.
Easy. Surrounded by trams, cabs, buses & trains, it makes getting in, out & around the city extremely convenient.
If you're not a fan of walking, there is a tram stop at the corner of Elizabeth & Therry St, just a 2min walk away from us.
Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs.
No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on Elizabeth St if you would like to head out of the city.
If you plan to take a train, the Melbourne Central railway station is just a 5min walk away from us.
If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “58 Franklin Street
Melbourne VIC 3000” just 4min walk from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.
If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.
TIP: Parking in Melbourne city is extremely expensive! You'll be lucky to get away with AU$40 a day for parking. Try not to drive if you can cos you're in the FREE tram zone and public transportation in the city is just amazingly convenient. If you "REALLY" need to drive, the best tip I can give you is, rent a car from Avis, Europcar or Budget on Franklin St just a 4min walk from us, it will cost anywhere from AU$70 to AU$150 a day depending on what car you're looking for. Rent it for the days you need and drop it back at the depot when you're done. It's heaps better than paying for parking in the city, or Uber is also another economical option.
