It's in a crappy part of town. Parking is horrible. First walked in and got hit with an awful smell. Windows looked like they were blown open because the locks on them were weak. Bathroom off kitchen was small and horrible set up, plus found bugs in the shower. Upstairs master bedroom, sat on the bed and it was so rock hard. Blankets were rough and had a smell. There was a dirty dish in the sink. We were only there for 30 minutes before a screaming match was going on outside our windows. My kids didn't feel safe. Ended up leaving and finding a hotel. Homeaway, the rental manager and property manager were no help. All hands were tied and refused to give us any kind of refund. Completely disappointed. Would never recommend this place. Not safe for families.

The LOCATION of this unit is actually prime Hollywood location and desired for its proximity to Sunset Blvd. This unit actually comes with an ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE so for you to say that parking is horrible is false.
You CLAIMED that the unit was dirty and had bugs, BUT when we asked you for photos, you declined to provide them. We actually sent the property manager over and she confirmed you had left the unit, however she took photos and the unit was ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS. She found no evidence of uncleanliness of any sort. We would have gladly sent you a FULL REFUND if there were signs of false advertising as we aim for guests to have positive experiences in our units. We treat the houses as if we were going to stay there.
The place was clean and good looking
The kitchen was understocked with basics such as places, glasses, cooking utensils. Even coffee maker has wrong type of filter in the cupboard. Not enough toilet paper for 4 people. The bedrooms would have been nicer with bedside lamps. Most other aspects were comfortable.
Yes, the kitchen is stocked with all the basic cooking and eating utensils. We urge guests to call the property manager is they have any issues at all during their stay. We have added more lighting in the bedrooms as we appreciated your suggestion. As for the toilet paper, in the House Rules we did state that the amenity was not provided, but we do provide the first rolls as people tend to look over that description.
Great location but property somewhat lacking
The layout of the property was perfect for our group of friends on vacation; there are two bedrooms upstairs (one with one queen bed, one with a queen bed and a twin bed) and one bedroom downstairs (with two twins). The bathroom upstairs has a shower/tub combo and the bathroom downstairs has a shower (this is just off the kitchen and has a slightly strange set-up, but is functional). It is older but fairly clean.
We enjoyed the location, as there were plenty of wonderful restaurants and things to see within walking distance. There is only one assigned parking spot for this property, but we didn't have too much difficulty finding parking for our two other cars throughout the trip (although occasionally had to walk a couple blocks).
Unfortunately, during the first morning of our stay, we realized that water was raining down from the ceiling of the kitchen and downstairs bathroom when the shower upstairs was being used. We called the property manager, who informed us that they would send a plumber right away. Hours later we weren't sure if we were still supposed to be waiting for the plumber or if we could carry on with our day. When the plumber finally arrived he was nice enough, but the problem could not be immediately fixed and he said they would probably send someone the next day to address the issue. No one showed up, we didn't receive any further communication from the plumber or property manager, and we were unable to use the upstairs shower for the remainder of our trip.
