The house is semi-detached built in 1848. Most of the living space is located on the ground floor, with large tv, fire place and dining area. Towards the back of the house is a modern kitchen and small bathroom (no bath) but functional and modern. Heaps of hot water.
The street has FREE PARKING 24/7.. and most surrounding streets same.
On the middle level you’ll find two good size bedrooms, one queen size bed and one double. Both rooms have built ins and heaps of storage. Rear room has lovely views down to the harbour and Mort Bay. There is an additional bedroom on the third level (Attic style) which can also be utilised, it has a double futon style bed.
We have just installed timber shutters also and the second bedroom has double roller block out blinds.
Out the back there is a covered verandah area perfect for that morning coffee and also a paved back yard with table and bbq. The laundry is located out here also. Front loader no dryer. We get plenty of sunshine. The kitchen is very well equipped with abundance off utensils / pots and cutlery.
The house is in a very quiet street, yet moments to the Balmain village and shops or ferry into the city.
Bus and ferry within 3-5 min walk...
The house has 3 x Reverse cycle air-conditioning units and also for winter there is a gas heater. The house is quite cool anyway and catches the afternoon sea breeze.
Also we have now a travel cot with mattress and 2 x sheet sets as we are getting mostly families staying. Also we have a portable baby bath. If you ave any other requests please let me know.
The iron and ironing board are either in the front bedroom, walk in robe or in the kitchen beside the fridge. Iron in cupboard above pantry. Sorry our cleaners move them around.
