Welcome to "Old Entally Farm". This modern luxury house is situated at the picturesque junction of​ the​​​ Meander and South Esk River (Next to Entally House). Conveniently located just fifteen minutes from the heart of Launceston and within travelling distance to Cradle Mountain and other tourist attractions in Northern Tasmania.

With views of the Western Tiers and Ben Lomond and surrounded by lush green countryside you will be sure to fall in Love with Tasmania at this romantic location.

The space

Entally Estate was founded in 1819 by Thomas Haydock Reibey II, the first son of Thomas and Mary Reibey. Entally House is positioned within a landscape of manicured gardens, vineyards and historical outbuilding, including Australia's oldest Conservatory, Chapel, Stables and Carriage House.

Enjoy romantic strolls to the Meander River or South Esk where you can try your luck at catching some native trout or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. If you are lucky you may even see a platypus.

Loved our stay here

This property is just 15 minutes out of Launceston but really well located to get anywhere around the region. A beautiful house where we could sit outside, enjoys the hills across the river and watch some beautiful sun sets. We would definitely stay here again

Absolutely Stunning!!

OMG I can't express enough how truly beautiful this place is! The house itself is massive and extremely spacious, very clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that all beds had electric blankets and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Loved the big windows and of course the views outside are just magic. Was a shame to leave the place. Would not hesitate to come again, and again, and again :-)

Clean house with amazing view.

House is really clean and tidy. Lots of space and really nice property to spend time. Host communicate really well. Chris thanks for your hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

Great house and location

A good property and house , only10-15 mins from Launceston, All the mod cons and very convenient. Large rooms and a very pleasant outlook to the Meander river. 3 x large double bedrooms and 1x single.Also a couple of large living areas. It was nice not being in town. Would definitely stay there again.

Hadspen and beyond!

We were delighted by the property. It is in a lovely relaxing setting, and importantly central to Launceston and the North West district. It is spacious and has a relaxing feel. Huge house

Plenty of space which was great. Well equipped with kitchen and laundry stuff. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. Can't open any windows which we found strange. Needs screens on doors and outside cleaning of birds nests etc. Heaps of pantry extras.

Huge but beautiful house!

This house is so big we felt like we had a hotel to ourselves! The property has lovely views, plenty of birdlife and warm, inviting rooms in a very quiet location. Thank you for the handy items in the pantry.

Great location

We were in town for AgFest2022 and need some good accommodation not far from the AgFest site this location was great. Big enough to house us all with separate areas plenty of parking it was very good not cheap but what we needed.

Home from home

Over 25 years we have developed an expansive property on 11 acres in the ranges NE of Mansfield. When we arrived here, it felt like home. It is a magnificent property and a pleasure to be in. Ok, there is always room for upgrades but we were there to prepare for a major event and The Old Farm served us well. We’ll be back!!

A grand house

This was a great property, close to Launceston, with many interesting places nearby. It is also close to Devonport with easy access to the ferry to Melbourne. While being very comfortable, It does however, lack a few of the basics, such as towel rails and soap holders in the bathrooms. There was also a problem that rubbish overflowing from several bins , deposited by former occupants had not been collected.

It's a huge house and is a fantastic place for friends who want to spend time together but still have time out spots and bedroom privacy. I imagine it would be fabulous for a family
