About this property

670 Hernando Walking Distance to Tigertail beach

Welcome to Marco Island, where the water, the sea breeze, and the sunshine are part of every vacation! You can’t truly experience the beauty and tranquility of the island from a hotel room, which is why 670 Hernando gives you the space, comfort, and conveniences you need to have an island vacation that you’ll never forget.

This spacious home welcomes you with an open concept floor plan, allowing each room to effortlessly transition into the next. Families can spread out throughout the home and still feel connected. The open living room features high-end furniture around a flat-screen TV. Recline on the soft couches and look out onto the shaded lanai and pool area.

The living room flows in the gourmet kitchen that is stocked with all of the utensils and appliances you need to make meals at home. This beautiful contemporary kitchen features gorgeous granite countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and elegant light fixtures. The tiled kitchen overlooks the living room and breakfast nook, and has an elevated snack bar with high top chairs. The chef of the family can work their magic (even if it is just reheating leftovers from Tigertail Beach Café!) and not feel secluded from the rest of the home. The cozy breakfast nook sits surrounded by windows and overlooks the pool and lanai. The round, glass top table provides seating for four.

While this home is definitely designed for entertaining, it also provides quiet places to escape and get some rest. The master bedroom features a King size bed, wood floors, a small sitting area and private access out to the pool. The private bathroom offers an expansive vanity area, toilet and shower.

The other three bedrooms have luxurious Queen size beds, shiny wood floors and their own distinct personality and charm. The second bedroom has a subtle black and white themed element and overlooks the pool. The third bedroom has a more neutral feel and overlooks the front of the property via a giant multi-paned window. The fourth bedroom has an elegant four-post bed and high-quality linens.

There are three bathrooms in this home, providing enough toilets, sinks and showers for the whole family to use to get ready each morning.

While the proximity to Tigertail Beach is a definite plus, the sparkling pool right in your very own backyard is just as appealing. This giant pool is completely screened in, letting the sunshine in and keeping dirt and debris out. The screened-in enclosure is surrounded by tall trees for privacy, and the pool faces south for ultimate sun exposure. There is an expansive pool deck all around the pool, perfect pulling out a chair and soaking up the sun. The shaded lanai offers front row seating to all of the poolside excitement and keeps guests protected from the sun. Upscale patio furniture and a BBQ create the perfect atmosphere for lunch by the water. A separate patio dining set under a colorful umbrella creates another comfortable place to enjoy a meal or cocktail under the warm Florida sun.

When you’re ready to explore the island, Tigertail Beach entrance parking is only .4 miles away. Explore the local restaurants and shops on Marco Island with ease, and feel like a part of this tight-knit community, even if it’s just for a week.

For families who have high standards when it comes to fun on their vacations, this immaculate Marco Island home has it all. This home was designed to help families experience the island in style, comfort, and luxury.

Other items to note: Boats may be parked in a driveway on a temporary basis, not to exceed eight (8) hours for the purpose of loading, unloading, and cleaning. Trailers are not allowed to be stored on property. (City Ordinance Sec. 50-37) We recommend Rose Marina or Walker Marina!

May 6th-13th stay
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great time during our stay in Marco Island. There were a few things I would note to the property owner - the pool/patio area was very dirty upon arrival and we had to spray down and clean the furniture/patio before anyone would be able to comfortably enjoy it. The sliding doors and front door had to be cleaned in order for the hinges to work correctly, and the cable box in the bedroom would lose signal daily. The trash and recycling cans outside were overflowing when we arrived and we were forced to handle clean up before the trash/recycling pick up later in the week. Also the icemaker in the freezer is clearly broken. These were all minor inconveniences but also things that the property manager should be noting/checking and taking care of before guests arrive.

Perfect home base for week vacation
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented for family of 5, including 3 teenagers. Everyone had plenty of “alone space”, yet the layout provided ample room for together time. We hosted local family for burgers by the pool, a brief get-together of 11 people that didn’t feel the slightest bit cramped. The privacy hedges made the pool area feel like our own slice of paradise, something we have found rare in other houses on Marco. Highly recommend.

Needs major updates
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in desperate need of updates and a good cleaning. The fixtures and many of the furnishings were extremely outdated. The pool deck was FILTHY. We tried to hose it off, but there wasn’t a nozzle anywhere outside or in the garage so we were limited on ways to clean it. The outdoor furniture was old and dirty with some chairs broken. The garage had a lot of beach gear literally thrown in a pile. We couldn’t pull our SUV in because of this. There was also no garage door opener. This home has potential to be beautiful and is in a great location, but is really in need of updates.

Nice villa
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay. Very nice spacious villa - felt nicer than the pictures. Good pool. On a very quiet, pretty street but also close to tigertail beach, some shops and restaurants. Booking and check in process through island escapes was very smooth, but they were not good at answering emails.

It was okay
Upon arrival we realized we never received an email for our check in process. We didn't know we had to go to another location to get the keys. Not a huge deal just inconvenient after traveling rather than a keypad or lockbox at the house. The sink had ants though it during the entire stay, assuming because of the garbage disposal. There were 2 towels per bathroom and no wash clothes.. the coffee pot was broken. The beds were comfortable and clean and the location being close to tigertail was nice and the pool was clean. Honestly, these minor inconveniences might be okay with others but we would rather not have to worry about those things on our vacation. To each their own though.
