Stay in Garmisch Partikirchen
The owners were so nice. We loved our accommodations. We were close to town and the train station. Ok would live to stay here again.
Well equipped apartment and very good hosts
Very easy communication and very hospitable hosts.
Enjoyable stay at Haus Heilmann.
We spent six nights at Haus Heilmann. Elizabeth and Henry were very accommodating. Elizabeth does not speak much English, but couldn’t be more friendly and cheerful. Henry speaks good English and gave us directions to a grocery store nearby, and helped us find Wash Point laundry only a few blocks from the train station. They gave us each a free bus pass to use while we were in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The bus stop is only a short walk from the apartment. We could even use the bus pass to Oberammergau and many other places of interest in the area. The apartment has a nice balcony and a fully equipped kitchen, plus a nice living space to gather. The whole neighborhood is quiet and well maintained, with views of the Zugspitze and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed our time there and we know you will too.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment could use some upgrades but overall it was comfortable. All appliances were working and easy to use. We had a very good stay.
I’d stay here again
Well located and wonderful hosts
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is located at the foot of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain (2,962 m) and is a climatic health resort and the winter sports metropolis of Germany. The Olympic site from 1936 and World Championship site from 1978 offers pure nature, quiet corners, cultural and culinary highlights, experience, relaxation, wellness and shopping. The range of sporting activities in summer and winter is diverse. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen you will feel a very special mix of international flair and Bavarian tradition. The cultural offer in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is also great: folk and folk music, spa concerts and the country theater are just as much a part of the cultural multiplication tables as the Richard Strauss Days. The home weeks of Garmisch and Partenkirchen from July to August with traditional performances by local groups and colorful traditional costumes offer an excellent insight into Bavarian tradition and joie de vivre.
