Bare Minimum
Had originally checked into a place where we were on the 7th floor and the elevator was going to be out of service for the week, so we had to quickly find a new place for the week vacation. It being June, this was the only place available. I asked for early check in and they were able to accommodate, which I was thankful for. However, the hosts were “bare minimum” kind of people. If you are planning on staying here, prepare to have to buy your own trash bags, toilet paper, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, etc. I was renting for 6 days and they only provided a “starter kit” which consisted of 2 pods for laundry and dishwasher, 1 trash bag, and half a toilet paper roll. The only thing they did provide was roach killing spray, which you will need since we were greeted with 1-2 cockroaches each morning. Also, bring a lot of mosquito repellent if you plan to hang at the pool.
I especially did not appreciate that the cleaners were sent a day before checkout at 10:00 (checkout time) and by 10:17 I was being threatened by the host that if I didn’t get out in 5 minutes she was going to contact vrbo to charge me a late checkout fee. The host finally realized that our checkout was the next day and the cleaner left. Patio was also filthy and not able to be enjoyed. Location is good with respect to the beach, but would not want to be hosted by them again.
