Well equipped for a family holiday
Kokomo had everything we required for an enjoyable stay. It is a lovely private setting in a great location. The pool is ideal for young children.
Nice, but much smaller than the photos show...
Unfortunately, the house was very dirty! The house has a modern touch, but this is not really practical. The showers in the master bathroom hasn´t a door, so the floor was wet and slippery. The pool is nice, but small. The small Palms in the garden are pretty. You will hear the street in the master bedroom, that´s sucks! The other rooms are quiet.
Thank you for your comments Nicole, as we discussed you checked in 3 hours earlier than our usual check in time of 2pm and as such the housekeepers were rushed to complete. We offered to have them return but you declined.
This is a large, modern 4 bedroom house in a quiet gated residential estate as seen in the photos. The street is not busy or noisy (quiet suburban street).
Great house for families!
Stayed here with my family and another family for a week in Sep 2018. We had 4 adults and 3 young boys (2, 3 and 6 years) in our group and the house was perfect for us. The house is modern, bright and spacious with a fantastic open plan living/dining/kitchen area overlooking the beautiful outdoor area. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a BBQ outside too. The pool is solar heated and very well suited to young families - there is a wide inclined entry ramp that is perfect for toddlers to play around on. There is also a bench at the deep end of the pool and a spa area with seating that little kids can stand on. The house is a 5 min drive from the main strip in Port Douglas so I’d recommend hiring a car to get around. It’s in a gated estate and has two large garages. We loved staying at this house and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for groups and/or families with kids.
