3BDR, 2BA 2nd Floor Duplex located 6 houses from Barnegat Bay, 2 blocks to the Barnegat Light Beach and walking distance to restaurants, mini golf, and the Historical Barnegat Lighthouse.
Walk in to an open eat in Kitchen equipped with Stainless Steel Appliances and a Wine Cooler and Living Room with a Fireplace (electric insert) and Bay Views from the windows. Off of the Living Room is one of 2 Decks with beautiful Bay Views and a Gas Grill. Walk down the hall to the 1st of 2 Full Bathrooms. Continue down the hall to Bedroom #1 with a Queen Sized Bed. Next is Bedroom #2 with 2 Twin Beds. Before you get to the Master Bedroom, there is a hallway closet with Washer and Dryer. At the end of the hallway is the Master Bedroom with private ensuite Bathroom. Off the Master Bedroom is the 2nd Private Deck that looks out to the backyard. Off street parking for 4-5 cars is included as well as 6 Seasonal Beach Badges. An Outdoor Shower can be used by guests to wash the sand off before going into the house. Guest may also use the backyard to play, relax, or have a picnic.

Perfect Family Getaway!

Mike was so responsive the entirety of our stay. The rental was perfect for our small family and had everything that we could have needed. We will definitely plan to stay there, again, in the future!

Great place

Comfortable beds. Hot showers. Fans and ac and lots of windows. Kitchen stocked with spices. Coffee filters appreciated. Nice open space inside. Fantastic location. Minimum of four nights was a plus for us because we didn’t have a full week.

Great house in great location!

My sister and I stayed here in March for a winter visit to our favorite beach location, Barnegat Light. The house is lovely, the kitchen has all the utensils you may need, the beds were comfortable and linens and towels were included. The deck has a great view of the bay and sunsets. Michael was a perfect host, responsive and informative. We will definitely stay here again!

Our second stay- just as wonderful as the first

We can’t say enough good things about this beach house. It is the perfect size for our family of 4 (with room to spare). The decks are so inviting, and the location cannot be beat. This is our second time staying here in the off season, and it’s literally around the corner or a short enjoyable walk to everything that’s open up here: park and playground/tennis/pickle ball; inlet deli and Agnello’s for sandwiches and light groceries, the liquor store, and a few restaurants. The hosts are responsive and thoughtful, too. We definitely plan to return for a third time next year.

Winter stay at Barnegat

Enjoyed few days birding at Barnegat Lighthouse and surrounding areas. House was clean and as described. would stay again if we are in the area!

We met in the summer of 2000 and one of our first dates was dinner at the Engelside Inn on Long Beach Island. Both of us grew up vacationing on LBI and dreamed of owning our own small piece of what we consider paradise. In 2018 we made our dream come true with the purchase of this home.

Why they chose this property

Our goal when we purchased this duplex in 2018 was to share this home with friends and family that have helped us along the way. In addition we wanted to have a place to spend time with family and friends, enjoy vacation time, and have a place to get away on the weekends. When we saw 30 West 8th Street we knew it was for us.

What makes this property unique

Being on the "quieter" side of the island with wide beaches and plenty of vegetation was a selling point for us. It reminds us of the LBI we grew up going to and our other favorite vacation spot, Nantucket, MA. Barnegat Light has everything you need and want in a busy beach town but also has the a laid back "old shore" vibe that you can't get on the rest of the island.
