About this property

With a cabin deep in the woods feel it's hard to believe that this unit is roughly 1/3 mile from Eagle Lodge (Chair 15) and across the street from the Sierra Star Golf Course. Plenty of room for the whole family downstairs with a king in the master, queen in the 2nd bedroom and 2 bunk beds (4 beds) in the kids room. Upstairs you'll find the ambiance that most people dream of which includes a remodeled kitchen, big screen HD TV, big views and deck. This town home also has a mudroom entry and is heated by HYDRONIC RADIANT HEAT- radiators which will provide a clean, quiet and comfortable stay.
There is also a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and tennis court about 100 yards from the front door.

PARKING - If you have a 3rd car and parking is tight, please contact the manager at the front desk and use the overflow parking area.

CHECK-IN - PROBLEM & REPAIR ITEMS - Please let me know ASAP if you find any broken and/or anything not working properly. I can be reached at (949) 246-0547 and always appreciate insight of repair items so as to provide a better experience for everybody who stays here.

LOCKING THE FRONT DOOR - Simply press the small LOCK button on the inside of the door handle to lock it either from inside, or before you shut the door behind you when you leave.

HEATING – This condo is heated with Radiant heat which provides clean, quiet and comfortable heat similar to the sun. There is a Radiant heater in every room including the bathrooms, where the towels are hung. So be sure the hang up your towels on these bars where they will be dry and warm for the next use. There is also an overhead electric heater in every bathroom to provide additional heat.

Also note that won't feel the Radiant heat as fast as your typically do with a forced air system, so please be patient and remember that it takes time for the temperature to rise after the thermostat has been turned up at the MAIN THERMOSTAT. (located in the downstairs hallway)

MAIN THERMOSTAT - Located in the downstairs hallway, the thermostat is set to a comfortable 66 degrees. You can over ride this setting a maximum of 3 degrees, but please note that it will return to this default temperature of 66 degrees at 7am, 11am, 5pm & 10pm.

WOOD FIREPLACE - Push the damper lever (located on the bottom center of fireplace) all the way in towards the fireplace when starting a fire. Once your fire is lit and burning well, begin to slowly pull the damper lever out so your fire does not become too hot and overheat the upstairs.

HOOKS ABOVE RADIATOR - This is a great spot to place your wet gear without worrying about it catching on fire. Boots, socks, gloves ect... may be placed directly on top of the radiators.

POOL/JACUZZI/SAUNA - You will need a key to enter which is hanging on the wall downstairs as you enter on the LEFT. To get there, go outside and RIGHT towards the front office and you will see the entry gate on the LEFT just after you pass unit #5. Please don't bring any glass items.

CHECK OUT is at 10AM.... Please do your best to take care of the following items:

-Load and Start the dishwasher.
-Empty the kitchen trash into the big green trash cans outside.
-Leave the beds unmade.
-Return the pool/jacuzzi key to the hook downstairs.
-Lock the front door when you leave.

Fabulous Mammoth rental

This place was an absolute gem. We loved our stay. The house had all the charm of a ski cabin, plenty of room for Mr family with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, and the host was super responsive — even making an extra effort to help me recover something I’d left behind. And the walk to Eagle was much shorter than expected. 5 stars all around!!!

Superb townhome conveniently located by the slopes

The townhome had tons of amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, and was wonderfully decorated--perfect for a mountain getaway. It's also a 10-minute walk from the slopes and is a short drive from all the shops and restaurants in Mammoth Lakes. Great place to spend!

Great Area—townhome needs some attention

I’ll start by saying—love mammoth. Been coming here since I was a kid and my wife and kids and I come up here every New Years for the past 7-8 years. We’ve stayed all over so have great options to compare to. Location—awesome. Love the area. Stayed here several times. Communication was good. Although I didn’t need anything—Trevor texted before the rental started and at the end. Super easy. Cleanliness—OK. The cleaning lady was still there when we arrived. But she finished shortly after check in time—so no problem. First thing we noticed—little bit of trash here and there. Then we went to use the microwave and found a chicken leg in a ziploc bag inside —weird. A lot of the pots and pans needed to be washed prior to use. And there were ants everywhere. Not a ton—but you’d see ants in bathrooms and kitchens. They got to a lot of the food we bought. So had to throw a lot away. One morning I grabbed a dozen donuts from Schatts—ants got it within a couple hours. They got the pizza. Anything that was left on the counter for more than an hour. Sucks. Safety—would upload pics if I could. Looks like they upgraded the main panel inside. It has about a 1’ x 2’ hole above the panel showing all the wires. Definitely not the safest. All but maybe one window had the handles removed to open the windows. And 1 window was even screwed closed. Let’s pray there’s never a fire and someone tries to evacuate. One of the ceilings in the bedroom is falling down. Water damage. Walls around bathtub same thing. Water damage. I definitely wouldn’t rent it out in that condition. Did my family have a great time? Of course—it’s mammoth. Would I stay in that area again? All day long. That specific condo? Not until it was repaired. Hopefully they address the issues before the next guest. Idk if the town of mammoth inspects rentals but if there is any sort of safety inspection I promise you this one would fail. And it’s not terribly hard to correct. Just poor management Paid 5 star prices for a 3 star rental. That’s the risk with Vrbo I guess. I’ve stayed in both amazing and less than amazing places. Adjust your favorites and move on.

Great mountain townhome

We stayed here in mid-June 2022, and greatly enjoyed the rental. The owner was extremely communicative and provided all of the information we needed to check in well in advance of our arrival. Wifi and television work well, and the upstairs living room and kitchen are genuinely inviting spaces. The rental is located in a complex on the left side of Meridian Blvd, just a little past Minaret Rd. Various map programs steered us in multiple (wrong) directions, but the Meadow Ridge condos are really quite easy to find if you stay on Meridian. All three bedrooms are downstairs, which is fairly convenient, and comfortably cool during the summer. The kids' room has two separate twin bunk beds, so in our case, each of my sons had their own! I'd say the unit is well equipped, full kitchen with everything you could need, clean and comfortable. A great stay!

We live in Newport Beach and coming to Mammoth year round has become a family pastime since the 1960's when I learned to ski as a little kid. Now with a family of my own, we continue the family past time of getting up into the mountains to enjoy everything they have to offer in this special Townhome.

Why they chose this property

We chose this unit to buy simply because of the privacy, views and ambiance right on the meadow. But it needed to be remodeled, so we took care of that and now our family can all relax there in comfort and style.

What makes this property unique

I'd say the most unique thing about this condo is the single family home feel, privacy on the meadow and the radiant heat. Clean, quiet and comfortable.....it's the best. There is no cycling on/off of a blower unit, the already dry air is not further dried out and there is no dust and germs being blown around.
And then there's the deck that sits right on the meadow....no other unit has their deck right on the meadow like ours. It's big with enough room for everybody and the experience of eating outside and watching the colors change and the wildlife stroll by is priceless.
