This Apartment Has Been Completely Renovated, And I Didn't Hold Back.
About Miriam Crane
I recently retired to Big Sky after a full career as an international commercial pilot. Being on the road constantly, I learned what it takes to have a comfortable, enjoyable, layover, and I've tried to set up this apartment for maximum comfort, rest, and rejuvination. I like Big Sky for the fantastic skiing, both XC at Lone Mountain Ranch (about 5 minutes from my house), and downhill at Big Sky Resort and Moonlight. I also love to skin up the hill right from my front door. In summer the mountain and road biking is fantastic because of very low traffic in my neighborhood, and access to a few killer mountain bike trails which always challenge me. What is termed the signature Big Sky Mountain bike trail-- Mountain to Meadow (6 miles from the top to bottom), ends right down the street from me. I can help you with the shuttle. I love the peacefulness of this area, and hope to share the beauty and serenity with you, with adventure just a step away.

Why Miriam Crane chose Big Sky
The private setting, the views, the easy access to the resort and Lone Mountain Ranch trails, for both summer hiking/biking, as well of course winter skiing. If you love to fish, the Gallatin and Madison Rivers and Yellowstone Park are right down the road. This apartment has every amenity you would want. I love the little gas log stove in the living-room, which adds coziness and ambiance. I did not hold back on appointing the kitchen. You can cook a full meal and if you need any special gadget, I probably have it. The bedroom looks out on a private covered deck, which gets the southern sun, and is protected from the wind, with a two seater Hot Spring Jetsetter spa.
What makes this Apartment unique
There is an aspen grove right outside your deck. Complete privacy and peacefulness. Brand new fixtures in the kitchen and bath. This is simply the apartment of your dreams. You have your own private hot tub, a heated garage, and access to an "Endless Pool" attached to the main house, maintained at 89F.
Normal considerate behavior.

Absolutely wonderful place!
We would definitely come back to this house.
Couldn’t of picked a better place. I was blown away with the place and property. I was there for a bike race and it was the most relaxing and convenient place to stay by far.
Wonderful Get Away
My wife and I stayed for five nights at this big sky property. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to have a quiet and extremely cozy get away after spending all day in yellowstone or skiing etc. The property is on top of a garage at the back of the house where the owners live. You have plenty of privacy and your own entrance with one car garage. The property is stocked with everything you need and more. Washer/dryer, full kitchen (and I mean full - all utensils, baking trays, strainer you name it), coffee maker, wine fridge, beer fridge, regular fridge, internet, two big TV's (we happily watched a few women's world cup finals matches no problem - Mimi even let us stay a few extra hours before check out to watch the final), a very nice hot tub on the back deck looking out towards the woods, thermostat operated gas fireplace/stove that sits next to the couch (very nice for cool nights even in the summer, the list goes on.) If you're considering this place DO IT: you won't regret it. We even spent a few nights in the town of big sky trying local restaurants, breweries, wine bars etc. They had a big concert in town as well as a separate concert/festival for the night of fourth of July along with fireworks. Very fun. A couple of things you should know; owner does have two German shepherds that roam the outside of the house/property but they are sweethearts and we had no issues with them at all other than wanting to be petted or throw a ball, the other is that the weather can change pretty drastically very quickly regardless of forecast. We stayed early July and days were 75 and nights 40-50s. Often a bit of rain at night to cool off and even got caught in a hailstorm coming home. Small hail Kind of cool actually.
Mimi also is very easy to communicate with as she is reachable at anytime via text message and can help you out with anything you might need.
Don't miss out on this fantastic property and host!
The apartment was wonderful. It exceeded all of my expectations. The host was great . She took the time to make sure I knew how to use everything in the apartment, the kitchen had everything anyone could need with top of the line appliances, the bedroom was beautiful, and the hot tub was one of the best I've ever been in. I was also able to use the treadmill in the lap-pool which is super fun! The host is very generous and gave me great recommendations on things to do in the area. I hope I have the opportunity to stay there again in the near future.
Very Comfortable Mountain Apartment
Very hospitable hosts here, about 15 min drive to the slopes. Hot tub is great, bed is comfortable, and the apartment has a lot of amenities (nice kitchen, shower, etc.). You will interact with the host and their two large and active German Shepards. They’re friendly but kind of intimidating if you’re not crazy about large dogs. Would stay there again!
A beautiful apartment in Big Sky!
We absolutely loved this apartment. The hosts were lovely, the place is impeccable and the attention to every detail is over the top. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for privacy and close proximity to the mountain and downtown.
